Is anyone in the top 10 up for a few ranked games in arcade, race to 10 or summit? I have asked a few of the top players in pm before but it seems they are always to scared to play for rank, and theres never anyone on with high rank most of the time so i thought I'd make a thread!

If anyones up for it then message me!

ive never played a game unless im in a tournament, otherwise i would, in tournaments its double rank

yeah and double losses too i think tourney finals should be triple rank earn but double lost still, that would be great!

too many so called pro's and virt forget how to play normal ranking matches as there only concerned with there so called double points
takes all the fun out the game if u ask me

Yeah i agree too, but as Nick said, tournaments were meant to take centre stage on these sites but rank did instead, with the tournaments now ranked hes achieved what he set out to do in the first place.

but think about it b4 when u reached pro or virt status it was an achievement now any 1 can do it not by the long slog of winning hundreds of ranking matches but by winning a handful of tournements

ask budwieser of kaison or the likes of destiny ,quick_pot and the likes how long they played b4 they were virts bet it wasnt a few comps worth

^^ Yeah i totally agree, people who rely or tournies or play low ranked players to get into the top 10 don't even deserve to be there imo

maybe so but if u ask the long term players people who were here for more than 1 or 2 yrs bet they'd all agree double points in tourneys have screwed the ranking system

i never play arcade ranked games anymore cus they are just not worth it, tourneys are double points so if your gonna risk your ranking may aswell be there.
I prefered it when there was a couple of ranked tourneys a day and the rest friendly made playing normal ranked games much more fun.

I also remember all the big names would play in them now i barely see on of them enter lol

power and original it could still be worth it but you don't get much at all on arcade normal games anymore.

The players that feature in the top 10 ranking barely ever changes. And I dont think half of them are the best. Weird.

Why is it double the points for tournie games anyway? I think thats a complete joke when they are so easy to win.

so people play tournaments rather than normal ranked games.

id play with you but well underranked for my ability (about 800), and i prefer regular, original and carom to arcade.

It's stupid, tournaments were probably more popular before they were changed to ranked. The tables are just completely messed up now because half the players in the top 10 shouldn't even be there.
