true but at same time you need to play ALL games to enter and because of this you don't get as many entries.

I don't like the idea of letting newbies enter tourneys. Remember the problem with fake newbies? No one wants to play a 680 newbie who is in reality a 900...

When i saw that the random tourny was back i was glad because its good to play a tourny where your not stuck on the same table playing the same people all the time. Good to mix things up. I tried to join but was disappointed when it said i'd have to lose my power newbie status to be able to play. I don't enjoy power and it bores me just thinking about playing all those games lol. Maybe it should be changed to non newbie in 2/3 tables. Would get allot more entries then.

theres a friendly one for now too but shouldn't be too hard to lose power newbie.

i recently reset so got to lose them all haha, prob take me about a week if i focus on snooker and not pool

Yeah i saw the friendly 1 as well but not to eager to play it because the win isn't recognised. I saw the entries though and it had allot more than the ranked 1. I suspect 1 of the reasons for this was that many were a newbie in at least 1 game type( probably power or carom) so they had no choice but to play the friendly 1. Obviously the later time is probably a factor as well. It's like some1 said above. Playing all the power needed would take a few good hours and for some1 who doesn't enjoy that table is would be 1 hell of a chore lol.

Again, I still don't think that being allowed to play a tourney as a newbie is right. If damee doesn't play power and can enter this tourney, he'll be a 680 newbie instead of a 900+ virt.
Gotta lose the newbie status to play the random...
