Yes, due to Slatty being on holiday until the 24th, his games will be defaulted.
In relation to the 5+ situation. As Slattys abscences gives a -2 frames played disadvantage over the rest of the group I might allow each player to play me in two frames in attempts to make 5+ runs. Just so its all level.
That will only happen if the remaining two games from Group A get done before Friday.

I disagree on the 5+ idea cuey
If a player is on a bye, walkover etc, then he/she obviously loses the chance for a max break, big run etc etc. Or to be first goal scorer in a football league etc etc. That's life i guess
Plus if they played you, u'd wouldn't leave them many chances to hit a 5 if you reach 5 winning points in 2-3 attempts at the most !
