I hav never really been a online gamer type of person, Don't have a Xbox/playstation.
But i got this site suggested by a friend and quite enjoyed it tho. Mainly though boredom i think lol.

I see some members have been members for years and from other countries interested 2 know how people found this site.

Dont just say the internet though! :P

I found poolsharks years ago. Switched over to funkypool when nick made that and then snooker a year or 2 later. I've been around ever since!

After the snooker world championship a couple of years ago they removed snooker tables from our pool hall for some reason, and I searched on here for a snooker game.

Literally the best online game going.

saw the snooker world championships, got intesrested in snooker, so I browsed, free browser snooker games, and i got this and took me a while to get propely into it. But what attracted me to forums was, I met kylereid93 in a tourney (kyle_147 now). And we got chatting, even when he beat me in the end we just kept on chatting, so he was the 1st one on my friends list

I was looking at his about me, then saw that he had posted twice, on the golden cues (original) thread, and I thought hmmm......i want to join one of them lol. so i looked around, looked at my rank (lowest was 579!) and thought.....not gonna happen. So I started my own, which was helped along by kyle, cameron, mark, sonic_1992 and a few more, but sadly died when I went on my hols! :P then i went on to pool and enjoyed that too

I was just about to comment on that lmao!

Absoloute genius.

Started off playing flyordie, was one of the better players on the site, had loads of lovely female friends and then ended up being muted for being so popular. I think disagreed and at the young age of 14ish I may have been slighlty aggresive... it resulted in a ban.

Found Funkypool in 04' and then quit flyordie totally because, well, funkysnooker is better.

I actually went on flyordie to get all my chums to come over to funky, they all made accounts but I never see them

Fell in love on that site as well. Awww cute! Shame she lived in America and was 6 years older than me.

Same here, had a very nice year there spending around the snooker light table...met some great lads over there.
Maybe Dgen en Philbyjoel recognise UpNorth from FoD.
My three best mates (Peter Lustig from Dortmund, RonnieOkiev from Kiev and Enigma from Plaistow, West Ham left) and via google i found funkysnooker....that was rather easy in comparison with FoD.
When i log on to FlyOrDie nowadays i cant pot a single ball anymore....where centuries (max break of 137) were not unusual....
