i was playing last night, and was on a run of ten winning frames,i was on 831.6 ,one more frame before bed i thought,so i played again, won the frame and went to 833.1 a few seconds later i dropped to 832.6.now i know you lose points for inactivity and to stop people retiring and keeping their position, but ill be playing again this morning so why have i lost the points, thats not inactivty,if i play a low ranked player next and win i wont even achieve to be where i was a few hours earlier, having not been inactive or losing ive still lost points,i think this is very unfair,is this normal, ive been reading about the points sysyem needing to be improved upon, you aint kidding, this scenario is ridiculous ,

Yep, its a daily loss, its also to stop players that reach a high rank and it stops them sitting at the top, so they lose 0.5 every day, pretty fair in my opinion

5) Daily reduction: a small amount is reduced from the top player's ranking.
To prevent player's simply retiring when they are top of the rankings half a point is chopped of their ranking daily.
The ranking is reduced to a residual point dependent on the maximum rank you have achieved. For every point you have scored above 750, the residual point increases by a quarter. Examples, someone who reached 950 would reduce until 800, 850 would reduce until 775, and 754 would reduce to 751.

Stop playing low ranked players then you won't lose anywhere near as much rank!

Well if you read what this was about then it has nothing at all to do with the opponents he plays, but about the dailt reduction.

I was referring to Mark's post, sorry you never noticed!
I'm surprised you didn't quote i_am_blessed as well, cause it has nothing to do with tournaments either? lol
