Hey, is there a way to practice without use of pms just in case people try and record something.
i know i could take everyone from friends and block pms but id rather see how well/poor i play with friends.
also don't like logging in as a guest as i don't like the office look, or showing cue when playing.
what i was thinking was an option to tick "Appear Offline" then you can only practice not talk, not go into games or see any chat (friends can't also see if your online) so all you can do is switch cloths have options for sound (shooting) cursor type and if you want Default, Office theme etc.
or can you remember the test game what you did where you didn't have to go online to practice.
let me know if its possible.
cheers

Open another game browser, then log out of the other one.

If you are on wifi, you can just turn it off for 90 seconds and Bob's your uncle

tried it, got office look again and dont think i can change cursor (i tend to use ghost for carom)
then got black screen had to refresh so logged me in.
when people pm/invite you soon as you log in (friends) its rude not to talk back by logging out
plus was lagging bad

I only scanned through your post but I suggested something similar a while back, only to have a downloadable version of the game, so when your internet connection is down, or if you just want to get some peaceful practice in, you can play it straight from your desktop. It didn't get much feedback but I still think it would be a great addition.

It's so much better not making online friends, don't get any of these problems!

yeah something like that would be good where you can choose from features a member has
also another benefit of that if is you give download to your friends and it may get even more members to sign up.

Sounds like a great idea.
I usually stop the chat in the rooms by moving to a room that has noone in it, alternatively, you could make a private match and set your PM settings to not accept PMs in a match that might work.

>Snooker club/quiz night >ignore new pm's > No friends.
So simple.
Don't see why this pointless feature should be added were there are already so many way around it! Its my definition of hell is a pm popping up by someone you do not know.
I would rather the server fixed or made better for 10-15% of people who suffering from lag every frame all the time, when every other website works spot on. Or the gameplay made better, Rather than doing a complete pointless update.

true but its not that pointless really.
some of us may actually like friends, you might not but everyone is different.
snooker club/quiz night doesn't stop pms so dunno where you got that from.
i agree with the lag aspect though.

I don't think an offline mode button would serve much purpose, but a downloadable game would be far from pointless.
@masterplan
What do you mean by fixing the server? It's not broken? It's perfectly fine. Also the game play is outstanding in comparison to any other online snooker games.
