You say my username isn't valuable.. So what is? Ragefire? Yeah I agree, awesome name! But when I first created this account it simple was just my name an the football team I supported but not many people see it like that anymore. They see Ste_efc an don't read much into it other than fantastic player. Fact! I do myself, I almost forget what it means! If I created a new account called fireball for example and people knew it was me, people wouldn't be as bothered playing me an would treat me as a normal player. But my name has been around for so long now an it just has the 'wow factor' so to speak! Am not trying to big myself up or anything here (I don't need too) its just the truth. I sign in now an I get PM's straight away an people love watching me but as I said above if I had a different username now and people knew it was me I definitely wouldn't have the same effect.
Cue_power. Nail on the head again!
It was a genuine question. I would sell if it was legitimate.

Lol people aren't going to buy it just because of your reputation on the site. What is your reputation worth to anyone else?
If I started using your account, everyone would know that it wasn't you on it, and that it was you that got all of those stats.
The username ste_efc will only sell to someone called Ste who supported Everton. To anybody else it's not worth having at all.
Go ahead, try and sell it, I'm just letting you know that you won't get far at all.

You forgot the bit that both Ste and the buyer would be banned too Jack
And to whoever said funkysnooker wouldn't know... they clearly would due to I.P addresses, simple.
No one who comes here without playing the game first will buy the account, so when they play their I.P will be logged when they buy Ste's account they will log in on the same I.P and be found out pretty quick.
Even more so now Ste mentioned this thread, also to Seb... To be fair Ste is in the top 10 in regular maximums I believe, so hardly meh!
Edited as I said arcade instead of regular <<Idiot.

This thread makes me laugh. What about when i play on my account at my friends house and vice versa they cant just go banning accounts that log on at different i.p addresses.
Which means Ste could sell his account and not tell anyone and funky would never know.
Seriously if we were made to play on one i.p address everyone would end up banned as soon as they signed in at college or at another computer.
Then what about familys in the same household, more than one account can be logged for an i.p address and you cant ban them unless they are actually cheating playing the accounts against each other and cheating to make one account better.
If Ste sold his account and didnt tell anyone the account could not be banned until prooved that he sold it, which if its cash in hand no way of knowing meaning no way you can ban the account!

You say that yet, I have been subject of some of the rules you try and tell us don't exist.
I logged on at home then next week was in Birmingham and logged on in a hotel along with another funky player in the same hotel we both got banned.
I have logged in in my house then logged in in my cousins and been banned.
The site know there are families who play the site and so if these play each other and believe 1 is losing purposely then they will get banned simple.
If they see Ste has been signing in on the same I.P in Liverpool for a year or so, then see that the same account is logging in in say London constantly who has been linked to another account previously, they will know.

Well if thats happened to you then fair enough pal. I cant argue with that. However i know of a few people who do move around the country and stuff that play so people get away with these things and rightly so.
Sounds harsh that you got banned for what you did mich m8!!

Worrying because my mates always sign in at my house for there accounts because they want to play on my beasty monitor.
Not that they can now with my monitor being game over!!! But still for 4 years my mates have regularly played on my computer on there accounts.
We have never cheated etc which is why i thought it was fine but im a bit worried now
Can a mod clear this up please...............
If my mate signs on his account on my computer do i risk being banned????

Just a reminder that discussing bans is not allowed on the forum so Mich/lee please stop that conversation. Thanks.

You can't ban someone for logging in through a different IP. That's just ridiculous. You would only ban them if you had sufficient evidence that it was in fact a different person on that account.

Adam, I understand not being able to discuss banning of members, but surely we are allowed to discuss the actual banning system? Why would that be against any rules?
Unless Funkysnooker is turning into some sort of prison where nobody has freedom of speech.

More than welcome to, however the question put forward has no bearing to this thread.
Edit: well it does a bit but this isn't the place to discuss.

i had 5 family members with different accounts once, at first the moderators was suspicious and rightfully so, questioned me about it as they should and i simply told them whos account was which.
i also tell a member of staff when i play my brother and always friendly then they know
