why cant we play wagers against each other..i.e 2 players agree a set amount of points ,say 200 each and play for them .

there is a website that helps game websites do this automatically...i.e rank monster .having side bets could have a profound effect on hoarders of rankin points...well thoughts

This would offend a lot of players, think how players worked there butt off to get a decent rank, and then you have this, it would completely ruin the rankings, you would have players there that are no where good enough to even be in the top 50, and a lot of players have a decent rank history because they worked for it, and it would just cause havoc for them players including myself.

This would violate the edge-modification in the ranking, as youd get people on the rank 970 or something and bet 40 points to go past 1,000 ranking points.

How about implementing a cash system where you gain a bit of money for each game won (not real money of course). You could then use the cash for stuff like buying premium, getting new cues, new table clothes, etc... Then you could wager your "FunkyCash".

It could also be a way of rewarding those who get really good achievements. 147 for example could get you some bonus cash.

The ability to wager tournament points could be interesting. Only ppl that have a hope in hell of winning day, week or month events have to have way too much time on there hands.

Would be a fun way to compete with less hours to spare

Also true, it did hurt to have to join two arcade tournaments in a day to win mine
