Sturridge came off again for Torres, so after the worse sub in Chelsea history wa smade last week, it was then repeated. aVB is deluded.
He needs to start off at Barnsley. I as well as most overestimated the Portuguese league. He cant manage this team. Chelsea arent doing anything? For 60 minutes of the game we arent doing nothing?! We dont attack, we dont defend we literally just pass in circles?
I cant stress how frustrating this is and I would actually punch every single Chelsea player in the face right now. They need to smash a brick over their heads. Theres no life, no ambition, no drive, no enthusiasm, no passion, no committment, no fun, no thrill, no wing play, no long ball, no narrow attacks, no 1-2's, no through balls, no lobbed passes.... they just pass to eachother and look at the clock to see when home time is.
This is my worst Chelsea experience as a fan. In 16 years of me loving Chelsea, I have to sit here and watch one man tear it all apart. He said he was building the future. Not being funny but building? We didnt lose any players. Nobody has retired yet, or got too old. Its heartbreaking.
I dont care about the league, I dont care about the Champions league. But my club is being sabotaged and it must be deliberatly. You couldnt do a worse job.

Ha I tried to tell you about Meireles Derry but you said I was being bitter and all that
He doesn't do anything in games, he went on a months run for us where he was brilliant, but other than that did nothing.
He'll pull out of tackles, misplace passes and shoot poorly on sight.
He has good movement and makes good forward runs with and without the ball, but largely they lead to nothing.
AVB out?

I don't know what all the fuss is about... Chelsea are still in a good position and will most probably get a Champions League finish.
It was always going to be between Man Utd & Man City this season for the title race.
Just give AVB a break, he's a quality manager and does know what he's doing.

Porto played with a high line in the Europa League final, and I thought to myself that a better side than Braga would punish them.
It is a dangerous ploy to use, especially with someone slow like Terry, and someone naive like Luiz as your centre backs.
Not seen the goals so can't really comment on if that was again to blame or not.
Chelsea are in transition, so are we. Hope we can finish 4th (which I hate myself for saying) as that will entice the talent from Abroad.
Got a feeling Arsenal will take that spot though.

The FA have finally released their findings in the Suarez-Evra case;
The FA's case, in short, was as follows:
In the goalmouth, Mr Evra and Mr Suarez spoke to each other in Spanish. Mr Evra asked Mr Suarez why he had kicked him, referring to the foul five minutes previously.
Mr Suarez replied "Porque tu eres negro", meaning "Because you are black".
Mr Evra then said to Mr Suarez "say it to me again, I'm going to punch you".
Mr Suarez replied "No hablo con los negros", meaning "I don't speak to blacks".
Mr Evra continued by saying that he now thought he was going to punch Mr Suarez. Mr Suarez replied "Dale, negro, negro, negro", which meant "okay, blackie, blackie, blackie".
As Mr Suarez said this, he reached out to touch Mr Evra's arm, gesturing at his skin.
Mr Kuyt then intervened.
When the referee blew his whistle and called the players over to him shortly after the exchanges in the goalmouth, Mr Evra said to the referee "ref, ref, he just called me a F'ing black"

Mr Suarez denied the Charge. His case, in short, was as follows:
He agreed with Mr Evra that they spoke to each other in Spanish in the goalmouth.
When Mr Evra asked why he had kicked him, Mr Suarez replied that it was a normal foul and shrugged his shoulders.
Mr Evra then said that he was going to kick Mr Suarez, to which Mr Suarez told him to shut up.
As Mr Kuyt was approaching, Mr Suarez touched Mr Evra's left arm in a pinching style movement.
According to Mr Suarez, at no point in the goalmouth did he
use the word "negro".
When the referee blew his whistle to stop play, Mr Evra spoke to Mr Suarez and said (in English) "Don't touch me, South American".
Mr Suarez replied "Por que, negro?". He says that he used the word "negro" in a way with which he was familiar from his upbringing in Uruguay.
In this sense, Mr Suarez claimed, it is used as a noun and
as a friendly form of address to people seen as black or brown-skinned (or even just blackhaired). Thus, it meant "Why, black?"
Mr Suarez maintained that when he said "Por que,
negro?" to Mr Evra, it was intended in a conciliatory and friendly way.
Mr Suarez said this was the only time that he used the word "negro" in his exchanges with Mr Evra during the match.
In the report the FA also says that: "Mr Suarez was not as impressive a witness as Mr Evra"

So from reading that they have basically said it is one mans words against another.
And basically by giving him this ban and fine they are punishing him on Uniteds say so because they are under the thumb of United.
However they will claim the ban is justified and that they are making an example due to recent goings on.
Oh and just back to Forrest Mike, they haven't scored at home for over 10 hours I think they said before on BBC. Coventry won aswell to got up to 19 points just 2 points behind Forrest which leaves them 2 off the bottom... Uh oh!

Yes, I thought the FA had gone on the basis of Luis' version, that he used the word once but cited cultural differences and all that, but they had just dismissed his reasons. It appears not however.
Looking at this it seems that despite the lack of video evidence, despite nobody in the ground hearing it, the FA have took Evras word of Luis.
And why?
Well the answer is here;
Page 59: 231. We found Mr Evra to be an impressive witness. He gave his evidence to us in a calm,
composed and clear manner.
Page 60: 237. However, Mr Suarez was not as impressive a witness as Mr Evra. His answers were not
always clear or directly addressed to the question.
This is the bit I like; (they took a statement from all Uniteds players) Mr Greaney invited the Commission to attach no weight to paragraph 8 of Hernandez's statement, which largely contained a statement of his opinion on the use of the Spanish language.

Here is another gem!
We find that Mr Evra's use of the phrase "ten times" was a figure of speech and not meant
to be taken literally. In circumstances where he was angry and upset after the game, he
had only spoken to Canal+ about this topic off the record, they had nevertheless asked
him about it when filming (contrary to his request that they not do so), and he was using
what appears to be a common figure of speech in France, there is nothing in the Canal+
interview which materially undermines Mr Evra's evidence.
So they accept cultural differences for Evra! Hahaha.
To court we go!

Did they take a statement of Kuyt who was obviously there as he intervened?

Yeah. Obviously they disregarded it.
The thing is mate Liverpool fans are picking holes in this on every one of its 200 and odd pages.
Imagine what a team of lawyers will do.

Well they have the Uruguayan country having a go at them for bringing their language and their cultural differences into it, plus for bringing their name in to disrepute basically as what comes with Suarez comes with Uruguay. So Uruguayan lawyers will be involved.
Then Suarez's own lawyers and Liverpools lawyers...
Fa are in for a long ride with this one

Suarez was found guilty on the "balance of probability" - a lower standard than the criminal standard of "beyond all reasonable doubt".

Negro is the political term for a black person? Not racist at all.
23:51 Sat 31 Dec 11 (GMT) [Link]
Lol, c'mon we all saw the argument unfold... Calling someone a Negro in South America is accepted as long as it's used in a non-abusive context. In an argument, it's still classed as racism.
It would be like the insult "You're fat". Say that to somebody who is fat, and then claiming you meant no offence by it, you were just stating the obvious, wouldn't be an acceptable reason.. Because it would still be taken offensively...
And again, calling someone a Negro in ENGLAND, which is the country that this event took place in, IS racist, just as calling someone a Nig/ger is... Suarez is in England, and therefore must abide by our laws.
There's no excuses... He did wrong, and he's facing his punishment. You L'pool fans just need to accept that and move on. It's really quite boring now.

Here...
We received expert evidence as to the use of the word negro in Uruguayand other areas of Latin America. It is often used as a noun to address people, whether family, friends or passers-by, and is widely seen as inoffensive. It is inoffensive when its use implies a sense of rapport or the attempt to create such rapport. However, if it were used, for example, with a sneer, then it might carry negative connotations. The Spanish language experts told us that if Mr Suarez said the things Mr Evra alleged, they would be considered racially offensive in Uruguay and other regions of Latin America.
