Don't know about you guys, but from a neutral point of view Kenny has to go.

Might have won you the Carling Cup and still given you a chance in the FA Cup, but whatever way you look at it, he has done very little else.

In the FA Cup, you have us or Everton in the Semi's, hard game who ever you play against. Then if you win that, Chelsea or Tottenham/Bolton in the final, sorry but on your form I can't see it happening, but who knows stranger things have happened.

If we win 7 out of the next 9 and win the FA Cup it will have been a good season.

Liverpool aren't the kind of club who sacks a manager after winning silverware. This season has been a bit odd in that we have played amazingly well at times and come away 0-0 or lost 1-0. I don't know if this is Kenny's fault but from the start of the season the players have psychologically been incapable of scoring their chances.

We are not Chelsea and I hope that Kenny gets another season with some better players arriving in the summer.

Well we play good football these days but we struggle to score and tonight when we do score we close shop.

At least we try to but we seemed to have left the back door wide open tonight.

I'm to bored of our league campaign to get that annoyed, but lets just say that was a complete disgrace of our own making. 3 very poor individual defensive mistakes to gift a very poor side who were lucky to have 0 and only be 2 behind after 75 minutes, 3 points.

Dunno who to blame tbh, just a poor mentality I guess. Once we have 2 then get 3, then 4 then 5.

Let us just hope we learn a lesson tonight, IE we are not good enough to stop playing 75 mins in.

I don't think they are regretting to be honest. Already a Carling Cup medal and a decent chance of getting to FA Cup Final in their first full season.

There are problems though at the club. Midfield is a problem, realistically Kuyt, Downing and Lucas are the only long term viable options (and all 3 have question marks over them). Adam, Henderson, Spearing and Maxi arent going to cut the mustard. Gerrard career is declining although he has 1 more season in him at the top level. I would love to have seen what Aquilani would have brought to the team, he was never given a fair shot by Kenny and is dynamite in Italy.

Kenny need to have a long hard look at this team right now, and in the Summer he should consider putting an awful lot of them on the Transfer market with hope of been able to buy 4/5 new players.

What an amazing result for Stoke and QPR last night, any team would go away to Tottenham and take a point pre match and going 0-1 up with 20 mins to go was a great sign, (Possesion for the 5 minutes we scored was 92% Tottenham lol) It just shows though how football can change so quickly that 1 break is all you need.

Liverpool - Stoke FA Cup, we played really well espicially first half definatly deserved to go into the break at 1-1 just seemed to let them attact to much second half but was still very entertaining

Liverpool last night was basically the story of our season.

We need a top class finisher and should never have gotten rid of Torres. Kenny is not the right man to drive Liverpool forward, yeah we love him but I have said this for months now and still stand by it, he was out of the managing side of the game too long and just hasn't got what it takes now.

We lost some of our better players early in the season and have never really recovered from it, and since Gerrard has been back he looks scared to go in for a tackle, in case he gets hurt again.

We need Lucas back, our midfield is nothing without him, we need Agger back, Skrtel and Enrique don't look as stable with Carragher playing there as they do when Agger is back.

Charlie Adam, like I said when we bought him was an alright player in a rubbish team, put him in a team where something is expected of him and he is woeful. If we can get £3m for him this summer I think we should just cut our losses.

Jordan Henderson, despite his performances I believe this guy has potential, you can see this when he plays CM instead of out on the wing, if he is played as the attacking cm then he is quality, think he has played there twice for us and both times he was brilliant.

Suarez needs to learn how to finish maybe draft someone in who knows a bit about finishing to train him up in that department it is all he lacks really

If you then get someone else in who will train him in class and integrity, even I might start to accept him.

Downing also needs finishing practice but looks like he is gelling in a bit more now which is good and has shown in a few positive performances. QPR did well last night to not let their heads drop and what a comeback it was for them, for that 13 minutes they were the better team and slotted their chances if we had done that in the first 13 minutes it could have easily been 3 or 4 but no we can't finish so it is our own fault no one elses. Hope Kelly is alright he has been a breath of fresh air to our team recently and my God what a player he is, won't be long until someone tries to get him off us if Johnson still gets in ahead of him when fit. In conclusion, we didn't deserve to win as we failed to do what we needed to which was convert chances into goals, I am sick of coming on here and making up excuses for us but not today we were brilliant play making etc as usual but in front of goal terrible and that will not win us games.

I think Kenny has had too much help from the fans and the clubs owners and it has just made his and the teams approach a lot more lazy, if he had the pressure that Benitez, Houllier, Hodgson had then he would pull his finger out and do something, but he just says in his interview after the games there are positives to be had from this. Wake up Kenny and sort the team out.

Shelvey (Want to see him more, I think he's better than Henderson)

Gutted about the City game tut. Can't see that being a penalty but I knew it would be a weak penalty shout that was given. At only 1-0, it was obvious that the next goal was going to be the winning goal and it was a silly 1 yard away handball in the box. Meh. Spurs on Saturday turns into a must win instead of a mustn't lose.


I cant actually believe Liverpool, but at the same time... could see it coming. I honestly dont think Liverpool are good enough to be in the Champions League, or win the FA Cup. I think the Carling cup was tribute to the bigger teams playing their squad players and having other priorities.

Liverpool can be really good... in a really bad way. They can defend relentlessly. Most defensive decent team I think to actually compete this year. Even Porto's, Basle's, Ath Madrid, Bilbao etc etc all have an attacking mentality. I think Liverpool park the bus too much. Yes its effective, but nobody wants to see that. Nobody wanted Holland to beat Spain on the counter.

Reina has made a lod of mistakes, he has been weak.

Defensively, Johnson, Agger, Kelly, Carra all have to go? You wont get anywhere in Europe with those players. Skrtel and Enrique JUST about cut it.

Henderson, Downing, Maxi, Kuyt, Adam... very weak. None of them would get into Chelsea, Utd, City, Spurs... Either would Lucas and Gerrard is underperforming? So where are the goals so far?

Carroll... - Nope. So you are relying on Suarez. Just like Arsenal do RVP.

Now its not all bad having a rubbish team as Man United have proved as well as Arsenal.

You just need a few players to perform and players to try hard and you can pick up wins easily in the premier league.

Man United are top of the league, and imo are going to now win the league... but look at their team? I think it will be the worst team to win the league ever. Worst Utd team ive seen.

But Liverpool can only pull it out and give 100% against the big boys. Reminds me a lot of Chelsea in the 90's and early 00's. We beat United 4-0, Arsenal 3-0 Liverpool 3-0 and then we lost 3 games on the trott. Leicester, Charlton, Derby. We conceaded 11 goals. The reason Liverpool have to change it, get rid of most of their team and invest majorly, is because 100% cannot be maintained all season.

Just my opinion anyway.

I think Chelsea have the same problem really. We have weak links and too many of them. Bosingwa is terrible, Miereles shocking. Lampard lacking game time. Torres - nuff said. Mata doesnt score many or have any pace. Drogba been at the Nations, Luiz been wondering off, Terrys been in the papers, Coles been getting his willy wet, Essien injured all season and Sturridge wants to play upfront and hates being wide! Not mention AVB..

All these weak links have cost us dearly.

Man United are born winners, that is the big difference, they can have awful games and still pick up results, where as most other teams will get punished.
