6-1 - BEAST!!
podolski with a hell of a free kick, and the gunners go up to 3rd..
For suarez it's like the boy who cried wolf, he dives so much when he does get fouled the refs just assume he's at it again
@ the incident vs sunderland, it's a dive for me, hardly any contact, wish he'd just played football, apparently he's good when he's standing up

Really? Thought we were poor yesterday, big fan of Martin O'Neill but the fact we play backs to the wall football when the game is there for the taking is annoying. When we got forward yesterday, the build up play was fantastic, albeit without many shots to speak of.
Also about McClean, did you think he played well yesterday? Was a very sub-par performance from him in my opinion and other Sunderland supporters I've spoken to, hopefully just one of those games, seemed unfit.
Didn't think he played particularly well yesterday but he was still one of your better players. He would shine in an Arsenal like team if you get me, plenty of passing and moving etc.
I would say you played well yesterday to take us out of the game, it takes a lot of strength, and ability to cancel out a team of the quality we have. (I ain't blowing our own trumpet but obviously we ain't too bad) You made the game boring by not allowing us to do much really. So yeah you done well.
And on Suarez to i_am_cazorla who commented before, yeah he was clipped and yeah his past precedes him but it shouldn't when it comes to a game a referee shouldn't take the past into account, he was touched and just about at that... penalty no (he didn't even appeal) but yellow definately not.
Sunderland played well and I will be amazed if come January they haven't had a big bid for mcclean << not sure if it is spelt right but he is a brilliant player.

Still yet to see Suarez dive for Liverpool. Seem Gerrard dive, seen Carragher dive not seen Suarez dive yet. If anyone has any video evidence feel free to pop it on here for me.

Definitely contact in the 2nd one because I remember it well and even G. Nev said it was a pen when they kept slowing it down.
Obvious contact in the first one too, just not at the time he goes down!
Thing about Suarez is he will exaggerate contact but he's not a massive diver when there is no contact at all.
Fine by me he gets fouled 100s of times in a game and when he stands up gets nothing off referees.
What diving is, is going down when you havent been touched/fouled. If a defender is fouling you and getting away with it, natural reaction is to make the referee aware of it.
Skill players are always the ones to go down easily because they are the ones the defenders niggle away at all game.
Oh and Gareth Bale too.

Suarez was a known diver even before he came to Liverpool. He goes down at every touch, whether he really has to or not. If you don't want to call it diving, it certainly is simulation.
No matter what video would be posted here, a Suarez supporter will always say there was contact lol.

The second one is blatant cheating, nothing more. He continues his run and realises he isn't going to get that ball and just flops to the ground. Contact or not it is clear the contact hadn't brought him down and that it hadn't hindered his chances of getting the ball.
A poor sportsman and terrible to watch. His occasional moments of brilliance just don't add up to his diving. Any Liverpool fan will disagree but to the neutral he's just frustrating to watch.

Unlucky Juventus
Chelski sneaked a point as their luck shone through yet again
How many did torres score ? and their manager wants a tackle investigated ? Disgusting considering some of the thugs, divers and cheats he puts on the park
Good tackle son, nowt wrong with it

Thing is in football only being trpped up sends you to the floor. Being pulled back stops your momentum but you don't naturally end up on the deck, being kicked in the leg from behind hurts but it doesn't make your legs collapse and end up on the deck.
If you want anything from the referee though you do end up on the deck otherwise you're just not going to get fouls.
If a defender foals the man in possession it should be a free kick/penalty. Refs should be good enough to spot infringements regardless of whether or not players end up on the deck or not.
As it is though they don't so any time a flair player gets kicked, pulled back, tripped etc etc then by all means make the ref aware.
I don't just say that for Suarez but for any player. I don't like diving, I don't like the rolling about or any of that nonsense (I'm first and foremost a rugby fan so all the theatrics in football makes me laugh) but if you are fouled and are not getting the decisions then something has to give.
The prime example was Drogba. Any touch if the moment suited him resulted in some strange over the top fall to the floor, but in the rules it says nothing about players having to make every effort to stay on their feet but the rules on being impeded are clear. You cannot make unfair contact with the man.
The Young Boys striker Bobadilla did a good dive today though. That was funny as was his protest at being booked for it.

3 goals for young boys
Playing fringe players or not rogers is a terrible manager and i am still baffled as to why the board appointed him
Will take the club absolutely nowhere but down
Where did it all go wrong for pool ? Appointing joke manager after joke manager

not the manager's fault, they've had some legends in the hot seat, Brendan Rogers took Swansea from League to to prem, that takes class.
Liverpool is just a very hard side to manage atm, whoever is brave enough will be challenged..

We score 5 goals we win, yet still the negativity.
Let's start with some positives for now...
1. Andre Wisdom looks brilliant.
2. Jordan Henderson and Sahin work so well together it's unbelievable.
3. Oussama Assaidi just strolled through their defence.
4. Jonjo Shelvey proved why he is worth his place he has been getting in the first team.
5. Seba Coates on the scoresheet again.
6. Victory away from home, in a thrilling game with using only 1 of our main starting 11 (Enrique)
Now the negatives...
1. Carragher is past it and has been for 2/3 seasons, what an appalling game he had, he is too slow, sits too deep, reactions are terrible and just puts us under pressure too much.
2. Enrique can not carry a defence, he had to do this last night and twice got caught out trying to clean up carra's mistakes.
3. 5 goals yet no strikers/wingers scored, 2 defenders 2 from a midfielder and an own goal.
All in all though it was a good game to watch, after our recent games which have been somewhat rubbish there was some decent play and some funny moments, defensive errors, good saves, good shots, 8 goals.
Think for the first time in a long while I can say about a Liverpool game it was fun to watch.

Just logged in to say this....Leighton Baines, best left back in the world? I think so! Class.
Fellaini, class!! Definitely his last season for Everton, i think he's playing for a move... if he takes us to 4th and we sell him for 30 min ill be happy :).
Everton at the moment are playing some brilliant football, outplayed every team this season!!
Also what a tribute our club made for Liverpool last Monday. says alot about us. Liverpool would of done the same, 2 proper football teams.

really good result for the newcastle first team to only concede 2 goals to man uniteds youngsters
would say newcastle are also a joke of a club but that is simply not true , they are just newcastle and quite frankly as they have proved since their formation they are just a mediocre mid to bottom table club so no big surprise

Congratulations to Jerome Sinclair who became the youngest ever Liverpool player in history.
16 years and 6 days old. Wasn't even born at Euro 96. Christ I feel old now!
