been speaking to my friend fuz and he lost his newbie tag in carom however when i said you unlocked posting rights he sent me this message:

You cannot post until you have completed enough games. You have completed 40 / 50 games.
Please note killerpool games do not count towards this total as wins and losses are counted differently.

i thought you got posting after losing newbie which is 30 games. is this a bug or is it meant to be?

Just to confirm, this is what the Forum Posting Rules page has to say: http://www.funkysnooker.com/viewPostingRules.do

"All members who have completed 50 games or more are allowed to post on the forum."

so why do you lose newbie at 30 games then? either newbie status needs to be raised to 50 or posting needs to be lowered to 30 as i was under the impression as a lot of people that soon as you lost newbie you got posting rights.

sure 20 games doesn't mean much except power which is 5 hours playing time but just to avoid confusion.
