Thanks for that Nick, I have no hs_err files on my laptop but I have followed the other instructions, will let you know if I have any further problems.

one shot earlier on orig i was aiming with a mini cue, unfortunately i didnt get a screenshot but i found humour in it and didn't affect the cursor.

Hmmm, thanks, please try and grab a screenshot if possible, this could be to do with the cue rendering optimisation.

Still getting the white screen I'm afraid. Whilst I realise that it isn't a massive problem it does mean I can't play in "offline" mode. the only reason I bring it up is that it has only started since the patch
