would be great to have a re rack button where both players can agree to press it!
The Break Shot - can this be revised at all and make people have to hit a break and the white ball to pass into bulk area!
(if this don't happen then you have to take it again or it passes to the other player.)
I think if this is in place along with the re rack button would be the best addition to the game and make it like a proper snooker game rather than tapping the break or smashing the break. makes it fair to both players and gives both a chance in the game. Getting a smash break is fun but its not when your on the receiving end of one especially in torns.
Also removal of chat panel to turn on or off as desired!
Express your thoughts thanks

I like the re-rack button (although it would probably have to be turned off for tourneys due to time constraints).
Disagree about the other suggestion though. Smashing and tapping are completely legitimate strategies in snooker and should remain so.

agreed, BOTH players would have to agree though

Re-rack been mentioned plenty of times, would be nice.
Totally disagree to that other part. It's not a snooker rule, so why should we change an official snooker rule into a funky rule?

The reasons they don't smash break in real snooker are:
A) The pockets are much tighter so the chance of them potting is much less. If they miss then they leave the table open and chances are lose the frame.
B) Even if they pot, there is no guarantee of being on a colour, don't forget that potting the green with the white down the black end in real snooker is not realistic, so chances are it is break over and with reds all over the place a safety would be very hard.
The other reason I dislike the compulsory baulking is that it puts the breaking player at a huge disadvantage. Unless you have a break off that snookers the opponent every time then you will likely leave a red pottable and against a half decent player that is frame over, especially in arcade.
But also as people have said, a rule on here won't be changed from a correct one to an incorrect one.

it does on power snooker got you there but players could smash the pack in the real game they choose not too as it would be an easy clear to professionals (same as robots on here basically), just on here nowhere is safe as you can just about pot from anywhere in the real game you can't thats the difference.
thats why professionals aim for the baulk cushion while people on here either play behind a baulk colour or the negative shot of rolling into the pack.
hope that helps

disagree as i like smashing in Arcade and Power, i have to play negative in Regular as i don't know a decent safe break, Original depends who im playing, guests sometimes i smash (i have a high pot %) or play safe (usually fails).

Should have compulsory killer type smash breaks for all speed tournaments so its fair on everyone, would cut out the tapping and its luck of the draw who gets break. If 2 or 3 balls dont hit cushions from break then its a foul 4 points and a retake till its done properly.

Like the re-rack button idea.
However the break option just isn't right for this game. I'm all for making this game more realistic but at the end of the day it is a game and smashing the break is sometimes as safe as a safety break on here. The pack splits easier on FS than it does in real life so in order to make a 'safe' break you have to leave them snookered more often than not as a long pot isn't exactly difficult.

Quinten Hann did it as a professional.
Just because it doesn't happen doesn't mean it's wrong to do. It's a perfectly valid shot.
Do you also want to stop people smashing into pack at any point in the match too? Because that is the same thing.
