it all comes down to who it is thats being naughty! if a mod likes some1 and gets on with some1,the chances are that that person will push that mod further than some1 the mod dont get on with could, coz they know they can. we all seen it and know it happens, users saying oh that mod want boot me,and 10 times out of 10 that user dont get booted. i could give examples but dont wanna use names on here, just wanna know what thats all about

Have you even used contact us, I know you say you have but..

I've used contact us a few times for different things and i've had a reply everytime, so if you've already used contact us i'd start by checking your emails.

It's understandable why dgen didn't get a reply for his query, cause it's something he doesn't need to know and none of his business. It's stupid to even use contact us for that imo.

Debate is healthy. Debate answers problems and debate improves things, Capping everything and using contact us for little things does not improve out.

There is no point i.will.lose using contact us; As all they will say " We will look into it" or "we are monitoring it"

exactly and i dont have a problem with any mod,i respect them all for what they do and how they try to help. the side of mods i dont get is do they choose to make up there own rules, coz there decisions on booting people are different for every1 and each mod is different? ok ill use contact us,coz i feel im being treated like an outsider when ive done nothing wrong apart from express opinions that people clearly dont agree with i wont say another thing bout it on here

Moderators have a guide book (or at least they used to) on how to handle a situation.

I personally rarely used it after a few weeks, but some of them followed it fully.

At the end of the day, moderators are people - not robots, and like football referees, cricket umpires and even police they have different interpretations of the rules.

Some are strict, some are lenient, you are going to get more chances off some than others, but at the end of the day users who are booted/muted/banned often only have themselves to blame.

It is important to remember that all mods and admins are human, all a different age and come from different countries and backgrounds. A matter like whether something that someone says is offensive, stepping over the line or just banter will therefore vary from person to person. It is also impossible to write up a set of concrete guidelines covering every possible thing that someone might say. Given this, there will always be differences between how different members of staff react to, and deal with, each individual case.

I will be the first to admit that in the past i have misjudged situations and should have handled things better. Staff are human after all and so make mistakes.

While I am happy for debate and discussion over things, openly accusing mods of favouring players or being unfair is not something that should be on a public forum. If you believe this is happening, please use contact us. While you have the freedom of speech, such accusations if unfounded constitute defamation and will be taken seriously.

To be honest I'd rather be a big fish in a small pond than a shark.

A shark is way to big for a pond!

If anyone has any problems about moderating and staff, you may use the correct method , which in this case is the "contact us" method. Please don't discuss this on the forum as we can see, it doesn't go down well.

Capped.
