I haven't seen this mentioned before, forgive me if it has been...

Would it be possible to have a 'streak' feature on people's profiles. For example +4 if the person has won the last 4 games or -2 if they have lost their last 2 (etc. etc.)

Possibly even for each individual game type, would give another chance for people to show their current form. I know I would see it as a benefit, anyone with any thoughts?

Mentioned many times before this. It wouldn't really work as some of the higher ranked players would simply go and play 500-700 ranked players.

and yeah it wont work as damien said you could play low ranked players to better your score unless you have to play a certain ranking for it to count? but if that was to happen it wouldn't be right to those below the rank

Why though? It wouldn't be an important statistic, just one that's a bit of fun. I don't see any problem with it being added. It could be quite a nice addition.

Yeah, why is playing low ranks to gain a high streak a bad thing? You're allowed to play whoever you like

I think that is a good reason to include non-ranked games, as well as ranked ones

If you play a 550 ranked person friendly or ranked, you still get the win on your page so why not get it on your streak?

I think it would be a great idea, as said up there no game is a foregone conclusion, you can easily win in arcade, Carom if you have the luck on your side a 600+ can beat a 750.

I like the idea a lot! If high skilled players want to play low skilled players to get a high streak then fine. It isn't as if it is a 'serious' statistic where there would be a leaderboard. It is just a little bit of a fun stat to have.

fair enough i just thought if you played Novices to get a 100 Win Streak then i think its not a true reflection but each to their own

I've always thought that its quite risky playing vastly lower ranked players. At times I have reached my maximum rank and been guilty of losing to lower ranked players as i've tried to keep my scores going upwards. It shows that anything can happen and that professionals are liable to miss or have lapses in concentration. It also means that hopefully a streak system would be a true reflection of progress.

it will just make it even harder to find a game because a lower ranked player is going to want to have a nice win streak aswell and that will make it even less likely they will play a top ranked player imo. good idea tho
