ive got a new pc "laptop".in funky snooker when i open a game the cue ball has a big cross in it witch is very annoying as i cant line a pot/shot up properly,i know there is a way to get rid of the "cross" as i never had it in my other pc,s that ive used .please help as it driving me nuts

Go to options - game - shot cursor

I had the same thing on my laptop. You have to go into the actual settings for windows(control panel/mouse and cursor settings etc) and choose a smaller cross. It worked for me.

sean_paulControl Panel - Mouse - Pointers - Customize (click precision select) and then press browse - Scroll down until you find Cross_r

This is on Windows 7 and works for me, makes the cross hair a lot smaller. I don't know if this works on anything other than Windows 7 but it's worth a try I suppose

Had this problem ever since I bought my new laptop with Windows 7 on it. I've managed to turn the big fat cross into a cross that is just barely bigger than the ghost ball (Cross_m). Cross_r is way bigger for me.

same as you seb but im on Vista, is yours bold the cursor? mine was but tried cross_m again i think the bold one was cross_i

I changed to cross_r, works perfectly as a solution but the ghost ball is now now solid, it looks as if it almost has quadrants in it.
Its not a problem, just curious does anybody else have the same thing? I think it might actually be the fact I have a 2GB graphics card that its a bit pixelated
