damee and potentially spinner will be here in a bit, so you'll get the (terribly weak ) counteropinion as well.

Damee, your appearance was expected it seems. Your every frame argument doesn't stack up because here a frame is the whole match so m_wood's point stands.
Secondly, it's not even the distraction which is the issue. My question is what is the motivation behind the midway 'gg wp'. There's only one: a negative one.

The reason you are likely to be saying good game mid-frame is because its tight, if a frame is tight halfway through then it means both players are missing, therefore it isn't a good game. So i can see no reason to say it mid frame in snooker.

Carom however or killer which is turn based, or even power I would say gg mid-game would be ok. carom you hit a 7 off break and the opponent hits 7 as well, you might say "good game this!", killer 2 of you battling out and never missing equally, or both break and clear with big cents in power.

Because I always comment on this and argue against everyone else every time this thread comes up.

Firstly, you're wrong with the fact every frame is a whole match. Tournaments prove that point.

Secondly, there are a few reasons, for which Adam has posted for above.

For the record as well, I don't say it half way through games due to the fact people love to whinge about it in the game and give abuse, and I get enough of that as it is off my own clan
Adam, im off to sleep now before you start moaning im still on

I wish there was a system where you could rate another member you have played with. I've just put another person on ignore, because he insulted my country for beating him in a snooker game. I mean what kind of human being are you when you're making fun of a bankrupt country.

Ratings could consist of a scale from 1 to 5 stars on a few attributes, like fair play, gameplay and attitude and appear on your profile next to your stats. There could be a ratings left and a ratings received tab for each player and an average score for every player, so most ratings would even out an odd rating made by a player with bad judgement e.g.

suspiria
Fair Play - 4.7 Stars
Gameplay - 4.3 Stars
Attitude - 4.6 Stars etc.

I've seen this in another online game and it is working pretty well. This would prevent the bad conduct and would greatly encourage good sportsmanship. What do you people think.

Something around those lines would be great, but to rate a player you must have at least 50 - 100 games played or forum posts maybe.

I'm sure this was mentioned on the thread, but you'd get people giving low ratings purely because they lost a game lol.

Between 200 ratings you should expect a small portion of them to be unreasonable, but they'd be eliminated by the majority of the honest ratings.

I don't think most of the Funky players would rate you low just because you beat them, I can think of 1 or 2 of them, but they're the exceptions.
