In cup games, you can't sub into another game!

Having said that, I can't seem to find it in the rules. But that's the rule we've been following for the last few seasons lol. I'll ask dgen if he can find the rule in an old version.
It's not allowed in cup games, because it allows you to pick and choose your opponents.

I thought it was fine as long as captains agree?

That's probably right and we would accept it here, especially since I can't find it in the rules. Just saying- in general, subs should only happen for inactive people so that opponents aren't matched after the random draw.

Cup Sub Rules:
As in previous seasons, the rules for substitutions in cup games are slightly different than league games.
Once you sub out a player in a cup game, you can not sub that player back into another game. This is to avoid clans picking and choosing their opponents in cup games.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find this rule in the current set of rules on the website. I will try to find it in an older version (I have a few saved somewhere I think) and will post here if I find it.

For the current cup games, we won't be strict about the rule, since it's not written down. Don't abuse this though please
