A long time ago there was a country called funkypool. The people who lived there were happy and enjoyed playing pool. But a small group of people started to get bored of the easy games that the country offered, so boarded a ship and set off to found their own land, funkysnooker.

These brave adventurers created a gentleman's game, although perfectly enjoyed by ladies too, at a much higher level than their old neighbours who spent their time while not playing pool splashing around in mud.

One night, while supping vintage wine and dining on fine caviar during a game of snooker, the residents of funkysnooker were interrupted by the sounds of whooping and hollering carried on the wind. Those who strained to listen also fancied they could hear sheep baa'ing. They soon realised that their noisy neighbours on funkypool were having their annual celebration where they burnt books on positional play in an offering to their great god "Hitanhope", a statue of whom dominated the goings on, picturing him playing a pool shot with his eyes closed.

The snooker players tutted in annoyance at this interruption to their evening, and decided that it was time to teach their neighbours a lesson. This can mean only one thing...

Funkysnooker v Funkypool is back!!!

I am ready to lead a brave force of snooker players over to the dark side to take on our neighbours, who will be captained by Horse10000, pictured below after a long night out:


I have already sent invites out, but if you would like to be considered for the trip please post your snooker name, pool name, snooker clan and pool clan (Ideally hoping for clan players on both as I know they will get games played).
I will ask for more info when we decide on the format.

Please note, pool may be so scared at the thought that they fail to get a team out, if so I apologise but treat it like a victory!

Am I pool or snooker player

It's up to you, though I would suggest pool need players more as there are more regular snookerers over there. Much as I have no wish to play against you at pool jayy in the interest of getting the event on, I would say pool.
