A date was set, it was QPR, Anton Ferdinand and the FA who initially requested it was delayed, Chelsea just complied. But either way, it should have just been resolved. There is no more evidence, witnesses or new information so get it over with. Give him his 8 match ban and a £50,000 fine. Simple.
My bad, these were the odds before Capello actually resigned. The betting sites hadn't actually updated the prices! Could of made a fortune! Was all still bet'able at the time!
Harry Redknapp 4/9,Jose Mourinho 8/1,Roy Hodgson 8/1,Alan Pardew 12/1,Arsene Wenger 14/1,Martin O'Neill 18/1,Stuart Pearce 18/1,Rafael Benitez 20/1,Roberto Mancini 20/1,Pep Guardiola 25/1,Mark Hughes 33/1,Alex Ferguson 40/1,David Moyes 40/1,Sam Allardyce 40/1,Gus Hiddink 40/1,Carlo Ancelotti 40/1,Brendan Rodgers 50/1,Steve Bruce 50/1,David Beckham 66/1,Marcelo Lippi 66/1,Paul Lambert 80/1,Steve McClaren 100/1

Mourinho is 2/1 favourite to become Spurs manage. Second is Moyes 5/1.
Would hate that...

Majority of those people the odds list is simply absurd and how the odds are so short on some of them is quite ridiculous. Fergie at 66?? lol try 1 Zillion to 1

Well, if Man U were struggling like they have been this season... and he was 100,000/1... if a few people put a cheeky £1 on him... and Fergie thinks oioi, I can make millions off this...
Especially the good managers like Fergie.. if he wanted the job, he'd get it. So the bookies cant give 1 zillion to 1...
Plus you have to consider, if this was at the end of this season, Capello's contract is out and he wasnt signing a new one... then anyone apart form Harry was very unlikely.
German manager! Haha, only just realised... Cant see the FA employing a German manager, dont think majority of fans would be best pleased!
I wouldnt mind it, a bit of backbone in these German managers! But the FA like the simple "Yes" man, sadly!
I have handed my C.V in anyway. Pretty disappointed though... not making the latest odds market to become manager...

It is amazing really how badly the FA have handled this. It gives me confidence in my own life that these morons are making 6 figure salaries and some of them 7.
I mean they charge Suarez with racism off the back of very little (imo)
They strip John Terry off his captaincy whilst he is still legally innocent.
They lose their manager who defends his player just 4 months from a massive Summer for England.
They then go and put Stuart Pearce, who racially abused Paul Ince in 1994 in charge.
Incredible... just what is their stance on racism I wonder?

The timing seems poor, but I think the FA's stance towards Terry has been right. You can't really go into a major international tournament with the captain of England having a big fat racial abuse charge hanging over his head.
The fault was that the Terry issue wasn't dealt with in the same way that the Suarez case was (in a timely manner).
I feel like Capello was looking for a way out of the worst blemish of his managerial career and this was a good opportunity to do it on his own terms.
Have they actually picked Pearce or is he just the default stand-in?

Pearce is the coach for the game against Holland at the end of the month. While they make the decision for manager.

Its going to be Harry.. Rednapp needs to get real, get on his high horse, leave Spurs and take what he really wants

Why would anyone want the England job???
Let's face it, no coach in the last 15-20 years has had any success with England. Even Capello, one of the most successful managers of this generation, failed. Maybe it's not the manager that's the problem?

So every single manager has failed in the last 50 years?
The common denominator during English failure in big tournaments are the English squad.
The manager won't score the goals for you...

It mostly seems to be due to the fact that we can't score a simple penalty seb
01:39 Sat 11 Feb 12 (GMT) [Link]
ah, that's just one little problem. Penalties don't matter much when you draw 0-0 to Algeria and get spanked 4-1 by Germany.
The good players score penalties when it matters
