Just thought i would bring up this issue as its getting very annoying!
I'm a fairly highly ranked player and i keep coming up against players who have refreshed their account( or made a new one) and losing ONE frame in a tournement against them,and losing bewtween 7-10 points!

Is there anything that can be done?

Yes, try winning . On a serious note, nope sorry.

The only thing you can do really is stop playing tournaments if it annoys you that much or start resetting yourself, theres that many people who reset so you'll bump into these people quite often if you play a lot of tournaments.

Tournaments don't really mean anything now anyway cause there is that many of them.

ok cheers! by the way i was just 896 and lost two tournement games in a row and am now 879! just cannot get past the 900 mark!

Try searching the forum and I'd be surprised if your answer isnt already there

Well looking at your results, there is no accounts in there that are newbie.

Secondly, you don't lose 7-10 points against newbies to the newbie modification.
