Afternoon lads,

Just to let you know, i'm gonna get another clan competition up and away in the next day or 2 (so bare with me). It'll be group format with the winners of each group progress to the next round. I'll explain more shortly, but it'll be good to have another in-clan tourny and it'll get more activity within the clan (which is an added bonus).

I'm gonna get our 'in-clan' competition going from next tuesday onwards (as it's the 1st May then). I'll post all the relevant details about it and the format in due course (so watch this space).

Can you all start making more of an effort to post on this thread as well (as the more activity amongst players within the goodfellas clan the better).

btw, I was gutted Utd lost to City last night, think Fergie ball's up with his team formation and selection there (rooney was stranded upfront on this own and yaya toure and barry were running the middle of the park all night).

Oh well, fingers crossed City come unstuck when they travel to Newcastle next game (saying that, i'm worried about us playing swansea next, lol).

GOODFELLAS CUP TOURNAMENT

Afternoon lads,

As promised, we'll kick off with out little 'In-clan Cup Tournament' today.

Unlike our last league competition which was based on 'Arcade' only, this cup competition will require players to play 1 game of each type (i.e. Arcade, Reg, Orig, Carom and Powersnooker). Its therefore a best of 5 with 1 point gained for each type of game won.

Bonus points will be awarded during matches (+1 for every 50+ break and +2 for every +100 break). This makes things a lot more interesting (as powersnooker is a great game to make a few 50+ breaks).

I have split those who are down to play into 2 groups (which were chosen at random by pulling names out of a hat). There are 7 players involved in this cup competition. One of the groups (Group A) has 4 players in it, the other (Group B) has 3 players in it. Once each players has played every player once then the top 2 players from each group will go through to the semi finals.

Those players progressing to the semi-finals will not be allowed to face the same player with whom they have progressed with from the group stage with Therefore, I will randomly select the opponent for each draw from the opposite Group.

All results must be posted on this thread and each league table will only be updated by myself.

Deadline to play the 'Group Phase' matches are:
