you would need to remove him from the clan for this to be okay.

6.5 Substitutions in Partially Played Games
Once a game is started between two players, no substitution may be made. An exception is allowed when a player is banned, removed from a clan, or leaves a clan. In this case, the game may be abandoned and restarted at 0-0 with a sub for the player in question or a player may be subbed in to finish the game with the current score. Both captains must agree.

We think ed might be on holiday just now , if we remove him from the clan can he be added again in the transfer window ?

No, that is not the purpose of the rule. The only reason that rule exists is if there is some idiot in the clan that decides to refuse to play or to deactivate mid-game. I don't think that's the case here- it's just a player not being around to finish the games. It's happening to several games in our fixtures as well.
The lesson is don't start the games unless you can finish them in that session!!

Dear Goodfellas players:

It is against clan league rules to give up frames without playing them!!

You should always make your best effort to play and win all the frames, otherwise you are cheating your own team as well as the other teams in the league!!

Throwing frames will result in warnings or further sanctions!
