Well I just played Radical25...

Was his shot, the 40 second timer went down to 0...

I waited about 4 minutes, whilst Pm'ing people on snooker and even Radical through a pm...

No mention of either player to stop responding...

4 minutes wait...

Then he takes one shot... (I was expecting a flurry of shots in rapid succession)

But after his first shot, he then took 20 seconds to play the next.

and the game resumed as normal.

How can this happen? I find it strange how I can lose connection without actually losing connection.... but how can we both freeze/crash... then resume as normal after around 4 minutes and the 40 second timer.

I used to freeze the timer back in the day sometimes, (only friendlies though, I'm not a cheater ).
That's not easy to do any more though so it'll just be a general server bug or something along those lines.

Yeah he was completely unaware as to what was happening though.

Just played a frame again there... he broke fouled white perfect set up for a 107... and my game freezes because an PM pops up.

My java is the latest version of Java... but when someone sends me a PM on my task manager Java goes up to 340,000k of usage. When I close all pms and just use funkysnooker, Java is 12,000k.

Is this a problem I have or is this funkysnooker screwing me?

Seems strange that I can use funky quick as lightning but then crash if Im pm'd. The only thing I can do is ignore pms and remove everyone from my friends list... surely there is a better soloution?

Pretty sure it's happened to me a few times before.
If it froze up for both of you then it was most likely a problem with the server and nothing to do with Java. If it was just you then there could be a number of reasons.
