it would make people practise more(maybe) which in a few months time make more better players and maybe more people would be able to beat sean at original lol

yeah, you would think, and that was why carom practise game was introduced, but the end result is less people are playing matches which is not a good thing
i would love practise breaks recorded etc. but if it means less people playt matches, im voting no

sry but i disagree
the practice table is for practice - nothing on there counts - only to the person and as dgen says - stick it on your about me
i know this is a little off subject but since we are talking about practice tables i would like the option of introducing a "retake shot" option - when you miss something you can try it again with the computer setting up the table in the same way - to me thats proper practice where you can play the same scenario time and time again until you perfect it.
Thanks

That's been mentioned many times and always gets a lot of support. The option to place balls as well normally crops up. These together would give it much more of a practice feeling. Nick may have these planned for a future update but I don't know.

Thanx fuunky :)
Moons run is definitely awesome. One thing i don't know is whether he was calculating the last critical shots for too much time or not. But, even if he was, it's still a gr8 achievement.
However, i practise in exactly the same way as i play against an opponent. 3-6 seconds per shot. I just have no patience.
Now, if i reach a 19 or a 20 run, then i will surely try to calculate it more carefully, so i might give me over 20 secs before i hit the next shot.
A practice run/break doesn't reflect 'reality' a 100%. Could be close, but never the same as in-play.
It's the lack of pressure, unlimited time to think, even if you dont need extra time, it still is stress-free. And then is 'cheating' either by positioning or time.
P.S Dgen, in carom, you can hit in a way which will get you a good position for next shot. Tough but doable. I do it on certain shot types. This, perhaps, is one of those little details that have made my totals or runs better than other gr8 players.
It's not a bad idea, but like dgen said you would need a pot percentage stat or something as well so people know if it's a true break or not.
On carom, mooney's 22 run is certainly proving to be a lot harder to beat than people were expecting, only Solorak has come quite close to it upto now and he's the best carom player on the game, so i hear, and he seems to be struggling to beat it. I guess that shows how hard it is even on the practice table.

less people are not playing matches, since newbies could enter tournaments, every tournament (noon-9pm) is full,so i disagree with what your saying, sounds like a poor excuse to disagree with something if you ask me lol

i'll_be_there is saying that less people are playing carom against one another because of practice been introduced. And that's 100% true.
Tournaments is a different thing, and have gone up for a different reason.
We talking about carom, because practice has already started, so u have something to compare.
Recording unofficial stats is wrong in real sports, and you won't find it anywhere. It's here (in funky) as an ego-booster. I think it shouldn't but its not a big deal if it stays too :)
