whats the chances of having halfs and cents recoreded on your profile when made on a practise table? not long ago i got my highest break on arcade and have nothing to show for it lol as i was not playing any1 i mentioned it in members bar and a few people agreed so im just putting it out there to see. i know people will think its a stupid idea but others wont.

i agree long as its the highest break only otherwise it just clutters the stats up unless you have a practice stats on their own.

i get 50+ breaks in practise alot (reg mainly),as im sure alot of people do,i think it would be good to show on peoples profiles,its not going to affect the outcome of tournament wins or results of games in anyway and it clutters the stats.......big deal i say! stats dont win games

Not a bad idea, if it isn't to be made reality then you could also just list them in your about me if you have to

iv hit a 107 in arcade (practice) and only once but i cant seem to break the 100 in play.Be nice to have it on our profile.

Carom came out but I thought it was just me that liked the idea, like Amy said it won't affect stats or anything.

I can see that all this will result in is people tapping balls around into nice positions, hitting a max then posting it all over the forum. With no time limit either it is hardly a reflection on a real break.

Didnt cross my mind doing that,but this has made me think twice now whether it is a true reflection on your break,one will never know if it really is a 107 or whether the balls have been placed carefully.

pot percentage is a good indicator, usually when its high 90s means its genuine break any lower than 90 and its not.

adam your comment about hardly a reflection can be incorrect as people has different standards, to beginners a 50 break can be like a cent means to me. also moons 22 run its outstanding but by your comment about it isn't a reflection to destinys real 20 run since theres no pressure, i know you can't place positions on carom but same difference really.

also ive been trying to record an orig max from the break but its not easy as the pressure of the recorder gets to me, like when ive played robots such as destiny.

long as this would only be a profile stat and highest break i can't see it being a problem as they would be no leaderboard for it like carom has.

even if the balls were placed you still have to pot them all!

Anyone can pot balls over the bag tho can't they, If the balls were placed you can't miss, so obviously it wouldn't be a proper break.

It's not a bad idea, but like dgen said you would need a pot percentage stat or something as well so people know if it's a true break or not.

On carom, mooney's 22 run is certainly proving to be a lot harder to beat than people were expecting, only Solorak has come quite close to it upto now and he's the best carom player on the game, so i hear, and he seems to be struggling to beat it. I guess that shows how hard it is even on the practice table.

For someone who is good tho they would only need to knock a couple of balls over the bag each game at the most and would easily keep hitting 107's. It would be that simple if you think about it lol.

not as simple as you think, ive never hit a max on the practice table in any game mode and on match table ive hit a 147 on orig from break but not arc.

you would only need to smash break really, most of balls go near pockets with couple on cushions

Yeah I agree it wouldn't on the other tables, but with people talking about 107's, I took it they were on about arcade.

All this talk about placing the balls, who on here is good enough to be able to tap the white that perfectly onto the object ball inorder for them to set them up for a high break

not me thats for sure as i struggle with soft shots with my mouse, sometimes to get soft option i have to imitate real snooker with pulling cue back and forward for 10 seconds.

i cant believe that i suggested something and every1 does seem to agree with me lol it wont hurt to do it,i reckon it would be good if its even possible to do. if it recorded practise breaks then id have a new high break in arcade,i hope it can be done and is done at some point soon
