i was just playing name removed in arcade speed tournament and was 21 points ahead and ran out of time,why did i lose aswell? i was winning,thats poor. even if know1 replies to this i just want every to know what kind of player he is

to be fair if it was me in this position (i was other day in micro) 1 red (3 mins) and green (1 min), if it was one minute left and i could concede i would to prevent a double DQ but saying that i shouldn't as i would keep ranking points.

if i could win i would play on regardless like in that micro as it looked like a double DQ in one minute i cleared from green to pink to win.

i think because of the 'ranking points' sometimes players tend to stay, in friendly tournaments in this position if i felt like i couldn't win at this point i would leave the game to prevent a double DQ as it would only be a tournament stat but with 'ranking points' not only is tournament stat on the line but rank as well.

say Seb was playing a 600 in Orig Tournament and it got down to this (which it wouldn't but meh), i doubt Seb would leave to lose at his level 15 precious ranking points

basically the site is all about rank and tournaments now, so people sometimes think do i get DQ and lose rank or do i stay get timed out and save my rank?

in friendly tournaments (which were the best imo) you had nothing to play for except a tournament stat so it didn't matter if you left as rank wasn't on the line to begin with.

about one minute left when you potted blue and pink, did you have the time to pot the white (unless opponent could still win of course)?, if you did then if you would have potted white like i did then it saves about 5-10 seconds of white travel of potting black plus it would be like in real snooker calling frame without potting the black

about the thread, i feel a couple posts would be edited but i think admins will keep it afloat for the future.

Slow punishment is there so the tournament runs fluent. As there is no telling who is the one time wasting etc the game then forces a double DQ, a better solution could be bought up, but not at this time

And yes capped.
