I just think its worth a try, there will b lots of squad rotation unless we produce wonder results (and if we do, then we owe it to ourselves to keep the same team). The whole point is u wouldn't b subbing into play seb, whoever is top of the bench and has that game type selected wud b. Obviously my idea isn't flawless and some ppl will feel hard done by if they get a tough opponent but I think it wud b fun + provide a challenge + incentive. If u do get benched, so b it, u will get another go pretty quickly I reckon

I think there are a few more flaws with this. Every player will go on the same loop, does a player who doesn't play his games and makes little effort to get them played deserve the same games/opportunities? If a player has won a few games in a row and has played them without needing chased, and then he plays seb does he deserve to be dropped, in my opinion he doesn't but others might disagree.

Good point horse but someone who makes no effort to play will likely get a default loss of 6-0 and wud b last choice on subs bench for next fixture ( or, if some1 is not making effort to get game played +not updating us then we sub them out to get game played + they wud go to bottom of subs bench)

what bout if i win 4-2 in a clan game , next game i lose 6-0 to a top class player , would i lose my place and be on the bench ?

Agree Sarah , so basically we would prob get punished for losing a match vs the so called big guns ???

My 2 defeats last season came at the hands of Sean and sean_paul they are in top 2 or 3 ,so would I get ' benched' for this ????

New additions do not need an account age before the friendlies start, on Sunday then all future additions will need their account age to be 31 days to be eligible

The whole point is we're all in the team to play!!! However there are more of us in team than spaces available.

There is no ideal scenario guys. I'm just trying to find a ccompromise that will see us try to maximise potential as last year we rotated and fielded several weakened teams. We can't just pick strongest team week in week out as others will get peeved.

Though you would have had 2 games in a row anyway so probably fair that someone else gets a go - I think I was left out of 2 out of 6 (- think) league games last season so if we are just going to randomly rotate you will miss games anyway.

I guess the msg is try not to lose! If u do, don't worry, you will b back in soon enough.

Its good to get a bit of feedback guys - feedback can be positive too

If we can't agree to this (or another selection policy - get your thinking hats on!!) Then I'm now strongly of the opinion that we should field strongest team for every given fixture next season (we defo sold ourselves a bit short last season and need to kick on now) - bear in mind though that this would mean little rotation + if you aren't one of the stronger players, you wouldn't get too many games

? I'm just here for the free food!

NO Carom please. I think there are enough specialists in here and I am definately not one of them.

In regard to linnie's idea. I think its a lot of calculating and preparation necessary to find this order every fixture. While vice captaining Vikings we always found a team without this. As soon somebody felt treated unfair it was solved in the usual manner of sending pm's to the captains and a solution was found.
For me there is no need to develop a system like this.
