I think I went a little over the top with the yellow card predictions. I imagined every game would be a bloodbath with 9 or so yellow cards on average per game.

Update after three quarterfinals:

A big well done to _buzby_ for winning the day with 14 points ahead of three others on 12 points. He has now scored an astonishing average of 14 points during the quarterfinals!
Special mentions for etarvt and mattywellie for being the first players to score 0 points during the quarterfinals. Couldn't do it if you tried!
Our leader at the top samj147 somehow managed to score 10 points despite sending France through... disgusting luck.

Of course, England and Italy go at it tomorrow to determine who gets to be crushed in the semis.

Let's be honest, who didn't see tonight's result coming? It's all in the mind, England.

Regarding the predos- as you saw in my previous post, we had lots of decisions happening tonight, including some from the original round of predictions.
samj147 had a total score of 38 points, which was by far the highest score- behind him were mooney and _unforgiven_ with 24. He has really put daylight between himself and the pack now!!
The average of today's points, including all the stuff posted before was roughly 14 points. _unforgiven_ was actually the only person to guess the number of England fouls correctly (15).

Only two players guessed the Eastern-most semifinalist (Italy)- etarvt and _unforgiven_. And only our leader samj147 guessed Portugal in the west!
