Obieee and I finished. I won the first two orig games with a half or two so we called it a day and played some power instead

Arcade was probably where we played best. He had an unfortunate foul when potting the blue on a max attempt. This game could've been a lot close if he'd been able to finish off his breaks in the colors. I think he lost out on 4-5 points on halfs or cents late on.

Yh I'm not the best when I play on baulk colours, more of a big breaker. Not the best of frames, but you played better with far more consistantcy, and I bet you was far from your best ggs, wp mate

This was a close one until the orig games. We both missed chances in the first arc game, after that we didn't miss in those. We both decided to smash break in the reg games. The turning point came in the last reg game. slatty had the chance to win it with a cent, but missed on 68. Although he had it won, I got the chance to hit a half. So instead of the score being 7-7, it was 8-6 to me going into orig.

I played pretty well there and finished it off with a cent and a 97.

WP mate. I really should have been 8-7 up going into orig. It was pure carelessness that cost me 2 cents.

As it turned out it wouldn't have mattered, I only got a single chance in orig, and that was from a pot I had no right to make :D

we again deserved victory once more

Players Championship is back! we have a few rule changes from last season, please read them to make sure you understand the format etc.

by looking at last season here is how the BYE system would work. It would go from the winner downwards so if we had a BYE the winner would be guaranteed to have one.

yep thats right

yeah everyone thought that 3 of each was too long (reason why some withdrawn last season as well as bonus) so we lowered the format.

the other change is halfs and cents bonus is in effect from quarter finals (round 5) other than that its the same really.

what sets this out more than other competitions is each member of league is entered (and games are optional) so i expect a few DQ's for first 2 rounds then we get down to who wants to play.

the other change is i won't remove anyone who is clanless unlike last season

This is the rankings for the beginning of this players championship. Further up the table increases the chances of a BYE should they be any.

We have 110 players if no one leaves tonight if that is the case they will be 18 BYES (10 which is filled by names in the rankings list) and 92 playing in 46 games to make 64 for Round 2.

I used a Number generator for the draw as i felt it was a real random draw rather than use names so apologies for missing anyone, if i have post here and i will add you against someone who had a BYE (not those in green as they earned that place from last season).
