I know Daves favourite driver was Fernando Alonso.
Hes currently top of the championship.. so hopefully he can pull that off for him.

It's always hard to know what to write on a thread like this.
Since I first learnt that Dave had passed away I have been thinking, what would I write?
Dave and I were great pals on Funky, we had a great deal of fun posting pictures of the "Gen Chat" bar or sauna or maybe swimming pool. He had a brilliant sense of humour, slightly mischievous at times but never malicious.
Dave would help anyone out if he could, he once actually wrote me a little computer program for a project I was doing and I know he helped many of people here in Funkyland.
We have many times said we would meet up on one of my fairly frequent visits to the North West, sadly we never quite made it. I new he had some problems with his computer but every so often I would think of him, occasionally send him an offline message, he didn't respond I know why now.
People have said before me "What a Gent", "A great guy" and "Decent" indeed he was all of these things and more - he was a friend.
Dave, you will be missed by all who knew you, Rest in Peace,

If Admin decide to run a tourny in memory of Dave, I would be more than willing to put up the cost of a year's premium membership for the winner. if it can be arranged that I can pay for someone else, not sure.

its amazing jus how much someone youve never met can play a part in your life, thanks to the internet of course.
And then you realise that person who you chat to, or had advice from or like you said helped you with something, there gone, its a strange feeling.
