I'm pretty much offline working so hadn't been about. I looked at the problem and fixed it (basically the allowed memory was too low) so it shouldn't occur again.

Will only happen if you've done something to warrent a booting from a moderator / The server has gone down / Or you've lost your internet connection / And finally...if you've turned of the exit message and you've accidently clicked on the X on the top right corner

erm the same sort of situation ahppened to me to day just as ice_eclipse was explainin. i in a middle of a match an sum numbers cum on the top rite hand corner and wen it reaches 6/8 i get logged out .
is dat due 2 my internet connection or funkysnookers connection ??

Do you use a dial-up connection?

If you get logged out of the game, does all other windows/downloads/applets e.t.c. on your system stop responding? If so, then it is your internet connection that is the problem. It also shows a 1/1 on the top right corner of the game window after 8/8 is reached (after 8 attempts to re-connect to the server)

If not, then it could be the actual game server thats resulting in you not responding, however on some attempts it should be able to re-connect you.

I have noticed that this (or lagging) can happen around tournament times. Admin, correct me if im wrong, but it could be because the amount of users online are at a peak at this time?

Farren, i think your right. i keep getting 1/8 and 2/8 and sometimes logged out even when i check my internet connection. i'm on broadband and other sites still work. If there are lots of users on the site it happens more frequently. Does that mean the server needs upgrading?

I keep getting this happen to me aswell, when i get disconnected from the internet it goes up to 2/8 and then it is fine. But recently when my internet is perfectly fine i will get up to 5/8 and 6/8 for no reason. I used to get worried but these days i just ignore it. The only problem is that it wastes about 2-3 minutes of a game, which is vital when youre limited to 19 minutes in a snooker tournament.

yeah ... wel i use brod band not dial up farren . and i get 2 abwt 6/8 and get logged out. wel wen i try 2 go in 2 the funkysnooker hompage it dusnt always work !

Does the page load up? Or does it only eventually load up after you start responding?

Pingo1990, fastboysam and riseagainst, what java versions do you have? It appears to effect users worse than others. Also take time to have a look at your java settings and check the memory isn't too low (as this can cause lagging)
