Hey guys, just a suggestion, but why don't we have funk music playing in the background during games???!! I really think it would take this website to a whole new demographic. Music fans are always telling me how they sign up to funkysnooker only to be disappointed by the lack of funk music, so why not fix that problem and get some funky music on in the background during games? Not only would funkysnooker be a place for snooker enthusiasts, but music enthusiasts too! The number of users would go through the roof!

Please tell me your thoughts!!!

first of all funky means java can be run on old machines.

second its not a bad idea but what if people don't like the songs? one way would be to paste a link to a youtube video and that could play but the easier method which i use is to download the MP3 to your computer using a converter, then play through windows media player lags less

Solace I must say I think this is a superb idea. On many occasions I have thought to myself, this site is lacking something, that would complete it! Music makes everything so much better in life, this game is just waiting for it to be added and im sure it wont be long untill it is.

could be an optional thing, those who suffer from lag can simply switch it off.

If you do that you can play it when you like and don't even need internet

Or perhaps an even better idea, we could give people the option to get rid of the snooker aspect altogether and just listen to the funk? People like music more than snooker generally imo.

Yeah but less than ten people have even commented on it in 3 months.

If you want music play the music you like in a different window from youtube/wherever. It's unnecessary to have it on in the background on here and will cause lag issues and annoyance for many people.

I know, get rid of pool, and turn that into a funk music website, nobody really likes pool, snooker is better. I'd much rather have funk music than funky pool

I think the best way to make it funky is to bring in the Dancing hippo idea!!!!!

If you want music then listen to it online, if you want to be able to do it without internet, buy an ipod (other music playing devices are available).

It would cause lag on the game I'm sure too.

Also, given the gentlemanly etiquette of snooker, it should just be a lone pianist quietly tinkling out songs in the background to add to the ambience...
