I'll give the standard reply shall I?
The adverts are nothing to do with funkysnooker. As james says above, you get adverts based on websites you have visited as that is how google adsense works (I think?). You can always remove an advert, or if you think it is inappropriate you can always use contact us and see if admin can do anything about it. To the best of my knowledge, they have been able to in the past where there have been adverts that have affected game play.
It does seem odd sometimes though when adverts come up that are nothing to do with websites you visit, the mature dating advert and the one for Filipino girls appear regularly for me and I assure you I don't visit those kind of sites!
Having seen the advert you posted above, I suggest you learn how to print screen, then ask for it to be removed... .

My current advert is for Vodafone... I havn't been on a phone site in years haha. It's to do with keywords, I could look into it I guess.

It's not just to do with what website's you visit. Google monitor absolutely everything you do and they show ad's which they think you might be interested in based on your location, and stuff you've being doing on the internet, thing you've searched for, keywords you've typed, etc..

Is that true even if you don't use Google Jack? Say I used IE (which I don't, I'm not that stupid ) and Bing as my search provider, can they monitor that?

Google can't remember nothing if you for 1 delete your browsing history and cookie passwords the lot. I uninstalled google chrome the other day and installed it again would google remember that also?, i pretty much doubt it

I'm not saying "they MIGHT monitor what you're doing and show you ads through you the stats they gather up", I'm saying they do. It's a fact not fiction. That's why a lot of people are starting to use SRWare Iron as their browser. It's Chrome but coded from scratch by some dutch guys I think, and they removed all the spying stuff.
If you use Bing and IE, then you're an idiot because Bing is a pile of *swear word* and IE is even worse. But obviously if you're not using any Google products then they won't be able to find out information about you.
And clearing your cache/browser history won't make a difference.. They gather the information in real time.
