Hi! I will be running a tournament based on the real world snooker championship. This means that the tournament will be seeded.

How do seedings work?
This will be based on the current ranking list on 7th December so higher you are on the rankings increases the chance of a BYE
Do Top 16 have to join for rankings to be successful?
No, Lets say on the ranking list from the players that entered you had... whocares8x8 (1), destiny (2), damee (3), dgeneratio (15), davey1985 (30). The Rankings for the tournament would be whocares8x8 (1), destiny (2), damee (3), dgeneratio (4), davey1985 (5)
Tournament Format?
Rounds will be a Best of 19, Quarter Finals Best of 25, Semi Finals Best of 33 and Final is Best of 35 Frames
When does Tournament Start?
Tournament will start December 7th and entries start from December 1st
Round Length?
Rounds will have a 14 day deadline, from the last 8 you will have 21 days to complete your game
Can anyone join?
This will be unlimited entries, however only join if you plan on playing the games otherwise you could be excluded from further events
Can the runner remove me?
Yes if the runner does not think you can commit to play in this event

me too, hopefully a few join, but this is going to be one of those where you may need like 4 sessions to complete which is fine given the long deadlines. Lets see if people can actually play through as its quite a lot of frames

yeah its just a trial really, if it fails then proves perhaps we are not ready for extreme tournaments but if its a success then maybe more events like this for other types (power would be like best of 15 final since a power frame is like 2 orig).

I would rather have 5 low ranked players that play games then 5 high ranked players that never play. everyone as to learn somewhere.

thats what i told him, i mean i learned by playing destiny for 2 years getting my butt kicked phahahaha.
