ggs mate! I was a bit flukey today, 8-4 probably wasn't a fair score. I had a few 5+ but nothing special.
Mich's biggest mistake was not learning from Seb - he let me go for a break and I hit an 8 run from the break in the next frame!

scrappy frames, we both played below our usual abilities and missed many shots that we would easily score if we played well. it was definitely not his day and, also, i had some glimmers throughout the game, that explains the result.

Well done mate, I think I was lucky to get 9 playing the way I did today! If you had been at your best would have been a 17-0 I think . You found your form by the end which will get mooney worried .

Bit late but did intend to do a little write up:
Congratulations to etarvt for winning the event, coming through a succession of tough matches to win.
Congratulations to whocares8x8 who achieved the highest run of 15!
Finally, thanks to all who took part in the event, it lasted a good few months, yet the vast majority of matches where decided on the table! It may have been an ambitious tournament to run with quite a lot of numbers and the potential length of it but I think it's fair to say it was quite successful.
So thanks for all your commitment to playing the event, and also a thanks to Adam for "helping" and to the other guys for their input in the seeding process.
Statistics
and on a final note, no further action was taken against alleged 'doping' against adam_147 after a mix-up between the sample and a bottle of Lucazade.
