Last time I looked into this was because of a toolbar or some virus which replaced website adverts with it's own. The logic isn't very clever as it believed it was an advert due to the size. As a first step you should ensure you remove and uninstall any toolbars you do not use, if this doesn't resolve it you will need to test your machine for any virus. Please seek technical assistance if you are unsure about any of this.
