The ability to pick up the cue ball and re-place it after a foul or before a break is the only major change i see...

some changes to graphics too Cam, plus smaller arcade balls I think too. Just want a list in case there are more changes

As hutch1971 pointed out the positioning of cue ball at the start of the break could be difficult in a 5 sec game.

What a load of rubbish Ian... You simply place the cue ball as normal... If he is too slow then he should stick to 10 second games or longer!

Difference is the cue ball aint already in hand.... you have to go and pick it up first..... there's time gone already in a 5 sec shot.

Yes it is, he is moaning about something that can easily be avoided by not playing 5 second games.

Lol, so we shouldnt play 5 sec games now because we now lose a second or so in grabbing and placing the white. People want to play 5 seconds and this change now causes additional headaches however you package it up.

Looking at this, yes the white is in hand if after a foul (white gone in bag). However, it's not in hand at the start of the frame, so really an issue for the very first shot in a 5 sec game I guess.

i just played a 5 sec game and had the break... i had no problem at all

so it dont bother me its others im worried about cos nouts been said about the changes it cort me out first game but fine with it now. but i did like the old way gave me time 2 pick cue ball up and walk round the table while i decided how 2 play me shot. made me look proffesional lol

You could have had it where the white was in hand straight away ( like it used to be ) and then when you place it down , you have the option to go back ( if you desire ) and pick it up again , to replace it

this would kill 2 birds with 1 stone

simple solution here a shot extension (used once per frame) then no one can complain

while im here nick is the 3 miss rule implemented where if you foul 3 times in succession when you can see the red then you lose the frame?

I like the change where you can replace the cueball

Unless your brain doesn't function, it doesn't take half a second to pick the cue ball up and place it where you want, obviously you know where you want to break...I see no issue with it, stop complaining and make a longer game if you're too slow.

The only issue here is the fact the white is placed already when the game starts.

If you get the ball in hand before like you used to, there wouldnt be a issue.
