Don't know whocares but your a better original player going on stats (although his are good and before you reset!!!) destiny is a great player but I always came out on top!!! Old guard all day everyday!

I think the new guard and the old guard have different criteria for judging the best. These days, the game feels very rank-centred and the 'best' players are those who have the highest rank. Scotty for example is considered by the newer players to be one of the best and he's never hit a 147 (showing my other point that players these days seemed to be judged on their arcade ability unless they are power/carom specialists). Players rave about Bomjaza because he wins a lot of tournaments, but he's hit 65 original cents in 3,700 frames. I've played 3,200 frames and have 248 centuries and I'm nowhere near the top in original. These days it's all about tournament wins and rank, the olden days was much more about hitting maxes and centuries. The increase in tap breaking shows this alone. But this is why old players think that the old players were better and the new players think the new players are better.

Finally, the mark of all-round funky success for me has to be the set of maxes, the carom 15+ and the power 200+. As far as I know, only Damee, Destiny, Kaison, Whocares8x8, Curt (heart_beat) and I have done it. If anyone else has please correct me!

This is what this site lacks, banter at his highest form, seb showing complete respect for one of the old guard by offering him a race to 100, to me this is what the site is all about if only we could get the old guard back more often it would be great for the site.

I'd love to see the old players back on this site as I never had a chance to play any of them, I came after they left.. be good to have them around for a challenge!

well when it comes to original I would consider myself decent only seb made more cents than me and when it comes to maxes i make top 10 same with halfs and tourneys won I mean from all of my accounts but still i wouldnt consider myself anywhere near the best players of all time

and btw I would count myself as an old generation aswell as i've been on site since 2007
