Was just in a game with someone and they took a long time to press Yes to play which some do, it was obvious after their second time random shot they were not there at all (eventually they lost due to the third one). But i was just wondering why the game allowed them to play with out actually pressing the button? Surely if you don't press either button it should just make you leave the game room or something...
Just don't think it is fair really, luckily i reset again and i am a newbie or that could have hurt that players ranking even more.

I know what he's talking about, it's not autoplay. The game gives thirty seconds or so and then starts the game even if you have not clicked yes.
Quite annoying if you forgot to leave the game room

This was introduced due to the number of players who just sat in rooms and never played.
As there is no reason to be in a game room unless you intend to play, the game auto starts unless you tell it not to.
Can't think of anything fairer than that

20:16 Wed 25 Sep 13 (BST) [Link] This is not the most obvious solution. The better way to do it would be implement what currently happens after the 3rd random. If the 30 seconds run out without a player clicking yes, just kick him out of the room. Why would you force the game to start?!
Some people leave to get a drink and accidentally forget to click watch. This just leads to loads of fake games and fake wins/losses.
Read above.

It does not start the game everytime though after the 30 seconds have passed. Taking rank points away from someone who could simply be at the toilet or something and just forgot to press watch.
If you click play it should let you play, click no and you dont play. Click nothing then it should so nothing. Simple logic i think.

In my view if you don't click it should boot you to chat room or force you to watch.
I know what people think of cheaters, resetters etc but this is just as bad as that.
Also the Autostart only occurs in Public games but not Private lobbies

Autostart always works for me and Richie in private rooms

never works for me as in private rooms their is no time limit to start the frame so you could potentially wait hours and unless your opponent leaves they're stick in the room until you press Yes

That's what it used to do but due to the volume of complaints about it, this new system was introduced.
You have to be logical - there is no point in being in a game room unless you are prepared to play a game. It really is that simple. Sure, once in a blue moon someone may make a mistake but it only costs them one frame at most, and that's much better than having the active players have through lots of rooms to find one with someone prepared to play.

I think you're underestimating the number of times this happens. I have won LOADS of games, simply because my opponent randomed 3 times. It is a much more common occurrence than for example the overlapping ball error or what used to be rocket balls.
I understand it can get annoying with players not actually being there, but they would be removed after 30 seconds anyway. That's in my view the better option than loads of these fake games.

08:16 Thu 26 Sep 13 (BST) [Link] Correct, because it gets rid of those fake wins/losses and kicks the opponent out of the room for not pressing yes
