matty asked about the cup tiebreaker.
This is the tiebreaker that's currently in the rules for both league ties at the end of a season and for the cup.

It was put in about 2-3 seasons ago, after we lost the title by 1 point. It's never had to be used.

As soon as either the Cup Final or the Player's Championship Final are completed, I'll post my usual season summary.

With the Christmas/New Years holidays coming up, it might not make too much sense to start the new season before early January.

In the meantime, I'd be happy to run a little tourney to pass the time?
I was thinking of some sort of a doubles tourney? If enough people are interested in this, I could get that going soon. Would really depend on everyone getting games done quickly though.

Also, this is a good time to bring up any changes that you would like to see on the discussion thread. Anything involving the league itself, rules, the Individuals Tourney, the Player's Championship, etc.

i just missed an easy 107 on the pink

Cup final..........

adam 4-1 skillz

Arcade I broke and potted, got to 30 something and left myself behind the yellow with no colour on. Had to tap snooker him and from there he left me on to win the frame. (1-0)
Regular was just starting when my firefox crashed. Skillz missed with it at 16-4 to me so we replayed it. Skillz had awful lag all the way through the frame and had a really bad lag on an easy pot to the middle which left me in. I ended up behind the yellow again and had to tap snooker again and in the end he nearly made a big cut plant up the cushion but it stopped short leaving me in to win the frame. (2-0)
Original went according to plan, left my break tight behind the yellow with the balls split, Skillz couldn't get it safe and I hit an 81 to win the frame in one visit. (3-0)
Carom I won the lag and got to 4 courtesy of a massive fluke, then had an impossible lay for 5 which I probably deserved. Skillz got to 1, then left me a tough shot which I missed by miles. He then hit a 3 run to get to 4-4 with a slightly lucky shot but then missed and left me a very tough one again, which I again was nowhere near but I left him a straight forward up and down shot for the win which he made comfortably and he then turned it into a nice 3 run to win 7-4. (3-1)
Power I got the break, hit a really nice break then missed a simple red to the middle. Skillz got a few in, then missed an easy one. I got a few then also missed an easy one. It turned scrappy and then I fluked a snooker meaning that I could get 20 points ish ahead after the first rack. Skillz got a decent break away but then missed a tough cut black and I made a decent break to get 100 and odd points up. I then demolished the pack with my 3rd break, potting 2 reds but then one red went all the way up the table and potted the green. Skillz got in but then missed a relatively straight forward pot to put me back in, and I built a 200+ lead with 2 minutes left from which he conceded. (4-1)

Neither of us really set the world on fire, I was mixing fluked snookers from misses with getting unlucky position from pots, Skillz was making some really tough pots then missing some easy ones.

This season's Cup was decided in favor of Allstarz with their 16-14 defeat of D&C!

The Individual Tourney was won by whocares8x8 with a 3-2 win against mattywellie in the final.
