Well I did do it, but it felt wrong to go against me for it, as is a very unheard rule and doesn't seem right much at times. But it makes easier matters, keep all ok with this.. nothing so huge.

The only reason you're able to do it is because the miss rule is too difficult to implement. It's not like this is a made up rule for the league, it's actually a rule in the real game

Harry in this case, did NOT know that it was against the rules. Neither did i and many more, i would say 75% or more probably don't know still lol.

I know loads of people who wouldn't of said anything with it too, and Im sure its happened other matches and no ones said anything, also it goes onto proof and evidence, u could hit it round table somewhere and get it back to where was even, making it look different, there loads of things on it.

I say leave the lad alone now, he has been honest and he has said it happened and offered to replay it if necessary.A lot of people are unaware of the rule and it causes few problems.

I have had it happen at least 4 or 5 times to me over the seasons and tbh its no big deal and hard to prove even with people watching.
I was accused of it once when in fact I just underhit a shot as you do, no advantage was really gained and the opponent lost the frame because he missed easy opportunities to clear not because of a so called push out.

Not true fuunky. The clan League is not an official part of funkysnooker, nor is it run by funkysnooker. Therefore the league runners can put their own rules in place and it is down to players to follow them. There is a link to the league page at the top of the 'Clan and League Chat' forum so they aren't difficult to find.

I think you will also find that, in most cases where rules are involved, ignorance of the rules does not excuse. If you break a site rule then the defence 'I didn't know it was a rule' will hold no water. It's each player's responsibility to know the rules and if they break one, knowingly or not, they will face sanctions.

It is against site rules actually. It's bad sportsmanship and that is against the rules.

I know some mods and admin seem to make there own rules up but since when has deliberate fouls been against funky rules?? I'm sure most people are not aware of this either.

The reason been, you can't do a thing about it, same as bad sportmanship, what do you do warn/boot someone for not saying gg?

Deliberately fouling is bad sportsmanship. Bad sportsmanship is against the rules. Ok it may be hard to prove but that doesn't mean it's Ok to do it.

He does it on pool aswell so really cant believe we expected anything more from him

no not end of story I tried to get it played early on in the fixture actually ... you had to go offline (fair enough) sarahh didn't want to play in case seb had other plans to get it played .... just saying that we actually tried to get it played just didn't have the players on deadline day well the pushed forward deadline day
