I really do think that this would be hard to do!
Not according to Nick! From the update thread regarding players being locked in rooms :
And after all, Nick should know whether its hard to do or not!
(Note - this also applies to the pool game to prevent runout's being lost due to opponents leaving)

what you are talking about here. I disagree with locking people into games as they will just 'x' the window.
As for the pool part, nobody in their right mind leaves in pool, it's simply not an issue because theres always a comeback, but if it were an issue; www.funkypool.com!!

I think that we should develop from the user locking idea as i think it seems the most effective. Whether it's possible, i don't know. But i have witnessed people who have closed their chat window but are still online as 'not responding' and the opponent can finish off the break before he is timed out. If it's possible to get some kind of control over this, then thats a step further.

Ah but "x"ing the window makes no difference as that user is still in the game until the other players turn is over.
Apologies for not mentioning the "hidden" issue. I dont see why the game should be hidden since if someone is well on thier way to a 147, they should be able to let folk know so they can join and watch.

You will still be in the game as far as the other player is concerned, so they can carry on with thier break if need be. If it then becomes your shot, and you're not there, that obviously means you concede.
