Dude - as far as the overseas players are concerned the only tourneys currently running are during the middle of the night!
Due to varying work hours i am often on during the night and i notice no difference in player numbers.
Regardless - it costs nothing to have tourneys runnning all night, and those who dont get a place in the popular tourneys can wait up and try the later ones.
What would it matter of there were only 4 people in one anyway!
But back to the subject, yes, a couple of speed tourneys a day would be ideal, say at 6pm (better than 4 - means european people are home from school/work) and 6am (for overseas players and shift workers).

no difference in player numbers?!! At 3pm theres hardly anyone on at all!
And no 4pm is better because as soon as the 6pm tournament ends, the 8pm one will start!

Well there you go - at 3am - 6am there are quite a few on. i always like to get a few games in before work. All the more fun if its a tourney, but obviously better of it were a quick one!

Well, this site has approximately...18,000 members. I reckon we need more tournaments or just a larger amount allowed into one tournament (being 64 now).
Just look at the days when funkypool had 18,000 members.

Well over on pool, Admin (cant remember if it was Nick or Simon, said multiple accounts only account for around 7%, so thats still a lot of active users.
Thing is, if the server can handle it, more tournaments can only be a good thing!

What about making the 4pm a speed tournament?

If a user is using multiple accounts in a tournament then a moderator can check this while online, however, it rarely happens.

oh sorry i didnt mean during a tourney though yeah suppose it could happen. i do reckon that over here on arcade snooker people using multiple accounts is more than 7% though
