Maybe there should be a stat on the profile saying how many times the person has resetted...

this particular user resetted his stats after only 3 games though

Hey, a newbie status still applies to people that reset their stats. It shouldn't, but it does.

Hehe.. ok, what i meant was, it doesnt matter whether someone had, or has, another account, by simply having more than one they are by definition multi-using, which is what this was referring to..

However if they both get another one, one will have had 2 cats, whilst the other one has 2. Either way, they are both multi-cat owners!
Thats such a great was to explain it. Nice one!
Edit - assuming you meant the cat was still alive as opposed to your mate..

Multi-using is using two accounts at the same time.
Note the word multi.

They dont have to be at the same time to be multiple, as thelordofall pointed out above.
Especially evdent in this case. The "newbie" in question may, or may not have another active account.
Anyways, it comes back to another issue which could be solved by getting rid of the delete button.. but lets not go there!

Unless *maybe* they were a long serving guest, but its unlikely.
Checking out thier signup date (and thier history) can show whether they have re-set.
Not much can currently be done about repeated delete/signup, but there have been discussions about adopting the deactivation system used by other sites so that deleting isn't instant.

The cat example was an excellent way of explaining it.
I think Nick should use that in the rules!
