lol, what's the big deal about this? yeah he does have an impressive account but after he tells you why ( a believable explanation), why are u accusing him of lying? and asking him to tell the truth? leave the guy alone.... i think you're all jealous

jealous, anything but. I can quite easily be over 900 for quite a while, 53 wins to 4 losses is something that only someone who has a lot of experience playing the game can achieve or by playing only newbies (he got to 929 so i doubt that).

so what they are good, and reset their account! No laws against that...

It's no fun being over 900's I mean look at me lol... and i'm still not content lol.

53 wins, 4 losses, we should be congratulating him not ripping him to shreds!

peace!

hey has ny1 thort it mite b like me ive only playd 20 games in snooker 18 wins 2 loses n ive got 816 rank n still newbie its becoz of funkypool i playd tht for ages but it startd getting boring so i came here

surely changing from pool with smaller table to snooker with a bigger table and smaller pockets you wouldnt have a 90% win ratio i have tried snooker and no way i could do that just after playing on the pool sized table.

I assume you're meaning origial snooker, since the arcade game is practically identical to UK pool.

What you forget though, is that the balls are smaller too.

So you have a bigger table, with more space to position your shots and effectively much bigger pockets to pot into.

yea i wasnt sure whether the balls were actually smaller or that they just seemed smaller because of the bigger table

i kinda had a question that fits into this category:

why is it that when you delete your stats you automatically become a newbie?? chances are you weren't a newbie when you deleted stats, so couldn't you just have the rating name (intermediate, adept, pro, etc.) for whatever your rank is (i think its like 650 by default) does that make sense?? that way when you are playing a newbie, you're playing a REAL newbie, and not just a pro who deleted his stats

The reason people are assigned newbie status is so they are subject to the newbie rank adjustments, so that they cant go stealing loads of rank off other players right away.

(Note - you can see what another players rank etc was before they reset by checking thier profile)

Though it would be fine to have the name changed from Newbie, to Reset

oh i gotcha, so there wouldn't be a way to make the player go through the newbie things of decreased winnings/losing points and that while still having their name be something like reset (like you said) or their what the rank is (if they are a rest and their rank is 740 then they are called adept)
