lol well warrington have sold all their tickets for our away trip to leigh.

But you have no room to talk, warrington Vs Hull KR in the challenge cup last year, there was about 50 (at very most) of your fans their, what was going on there?? Yet a few days later you played Hull FC and it was a sellout... Loyal Hull KR fans... hmmm

Yes there wasn't a lot of Rovers fans AWAY in that game but there is a very good reason for this. In the previous games we had Catalans (away), I think Saints (away) and then Warrington (away). There is only so much a fan can afford going away 3 games on the trot.

Don't get me started on the 'so called' Barmy ArmyWire fans :S lol.

Mike what i'm saying is that Leeds played at HOME last night, when normally they get 18000 plus.

If the game was played at Celtic and their wasn't a good turnout from Leeds fans then that would be acceptable but cos it was at home, hardly loyal that is it.

Well call our barmy army all you want, i was there at wilderspool when we had gates of 2000 and lower.

And not many fans would stay behind an hour after the game after losing to leeds who put 50 past us, to sing all the way through the warm down. Thats my current favourite rugby league moment, there must have been 1000 of us that did that, in the end we got told to leave by the stadium announcer!

Eh?

Warrington v Saints

22-30 to Saints - very good game , free flowing rugby played by both sides but i think Saints just edged it , espeically having 4 injuries and no subs at one bit!

Hull Kr 22-36 Leeds

Scoreline flattering Leeds in all fairness, we deserved more from the game apparently.
Was close upto 65mins when Senior scored a decent try but 14points was NOT the difference between the two sides. But well done Leeds, Craven Park is a tough place to come to and win! :)

Was a great game, penny yet again showing what he can do in attack and what he cant do in defense, thought it was a bit much when i watched it back on sky for them to say he could be as good as brian bevan.

When we went 8 points up about 10 mins into the second half, i still had that feeling saints would come back and keep our 7 year wait on us beating them going. We couldnt have give it any more so no complaints from me.

P.S.. a few questions about sean long... what was sean long doing with his kicking??? And why did he feel the need to run 30 yards back to his own try line... why nt just kick it out and have a littlerespect for your opponents? Whats going on with his hair? And sean long whats the odds?

Yup im going on saturday only, we are the 1st game on at 3pm, to be honest its stupid we play huddersfield, this is where i really wish widnes were up!

Anyhow think its leeds bradford on the same day as mine, which in my view isn't as big as saints v wigan!

All the games are going to be good though,

Saturday

warrington v huddersfield cos im a wire wan

Cas vs wakey mybe not so good but it's still a local derby, ill be cheering for cas

Bradford V Leeds dont really have a favourite out of them but it will be better for warrington if leeds win. If its half as good as the absolute carnage last year then im in for a treat, lets hope ganson doesn't get that game (or us for that matter)

Sunday

Catalan Vs harlequins .... ZZZZZ

Hull KR VS Hull FC - massive game and i know that these derby games are always big for both sets of fans, real big rivalries, ill look forward to seeing that on sky.

Saint Helens Vs Wigan - In my view they have saved the best till last, warrington V wigan Warrington V saints Wigan VS saints are all massive games and i know theres a bigger rivalry between saints and wigan than either of them Vs us so yeah gonna be great.

I can't way anyway for rugby leagues big day out ... Cmon the wire!! Time to get our season back on track.

Anybody else going?? the train tickets down there are dear so beware!

Hull Kingston Rovers have agreed a deal to sign Canberra Raiders scrum-half Michael Dobson from under the noses of city rivals Hull FC.

The 21-year-old has secured a release from his contract with Canberra after failing to be their number one pick and is expected to be at Rovers next week.

Hull FC wanted Dobson to cover Richard Horne but Rovers swooped after James Webster was ruled out for the season.

What a great signing for us - I think he'll prove a better player than Webster. He's apparently gonna make his debut against Huddersfield in the cup next week.

I was a bit disapointed of my day out yesterday, it turned out i could only watch 1 and a half games of rugby due to train times. So i ended up missing the biggest game of the day.

The game i did watch happened to be the mighty wire come back from a 16 point margin to nick the game by 2 points. The first half is the worst ive ever seen us play, every time they approached our line they scored.

Second half was the best i've seen us play all on, lee briers ran the show and mozza and rahihi getting us up the field well. They went into meltdown and gitfed us 3 of the tries but we were on hand to take them. They came back into it but time ran out for them and we scrawped through.

The atmosphere outside the stadium was hilarious. It was warrington and catalan fans VS the rest of superleague. When we got down to near the stadium there was about 50 warrington fans singing and banging the drums, with other fans watching. Then me and my mates went in and soon enough we had about 100 people. After a few more pints had gone down (and a bootle of red wine for catalan, no joke) the singing from all the fans started. We even got our anfield type flag out. It was crazy, but all in good spirits (except 1 bradford fan who looked a bit psycho) Warrington fans came down in the greatest numbers and made our selves heard throughout the day.

I cant comment on the other games as i dont no what happened in them

The occasion itself is brilliant ( except for keith chegwin!!!) and the stadium is huge) and im definitely going again next year but im hoping to be driving down there and stay in a B&B so i can watch it all!
