If they say it just say "gg ul" back

lol yes sometimes I used to do that. Also a simple "ty" shut them up pretty quick.......but if you lost then you look pretty dumb

i like it when they say that, then you miss so you say it back then they miss and you win...very satisfying

u cant blame the letters gg wp for missing a shot tbh i talk all the way through a game and if people say that it never puts me off

How about in "options" there could be an <----"OPTION" to disable chat?

you can just hide the chat box if you drag down te playing screen which does the trick!

If it puts you off that much why don't you just put the user on ignore while playing.

Because they are then putting you under pressure to clear up. To be honest, no-one really says 'gg wp' when the game is still going and can be won by both if they aren't trying to put you off.

It happened to me twice last night in 3 games, all against the same person, despite me mentioning to him the first time about saying it early as it can be off-putting.

As i mentioned earlier, i regularly do this. Remember what the letters mean - you can say Well Played any time, just as you can comment on a Good Game after a nice safety session.

Although they are now more commonly used at the end of a game, that doesn't mean its the only time to use them!

Someone could play well at the start of a frame, but lose touch and ultimately lose the frame.

Doesn't it make more sense to say "wp" after they actually played well?

could just ignore the opponent?

Also if you ignore somebody do they know or does it just appear in their chatbox? (hope that makes sense)
