Well look what i found, a snooks poem thread
Now let me think, so many things in my head
Havent been here to long, not many things been said
But im sure i'll think of something, lying here in my bed.

This could be fun, come on give us a thought
In Rhyme, of thoughts, that cannot be bought
Things that you cherish, or even adore
Just put them in a poem, then i'll do some more

We love this thread, over on funkypool
Some of the poems there are really quite cool
When ya get the hang of it, not a word even lingers
The typing of words, just roll off the fingers

Well that just leaves me, here to say
About the strange and funniest day today
Come to the party, dont stay away
Cos i will make sure, this threads here to stay.

One more line, to a bird, not a dove
Though she is wingless, nonetheless i still love
One so precious to me, you can all clearly see

THE WEDDING

Went to a wedding yesterday, it was so much fun
Beggar and Sam, getting wed in the sun
Well, it was 7am, but we wont split hairs
The day was all set, and that day was theirs

We all gathered there, all sat in our pews
Just sat there wondering who's relatives was who's
Then all of a sudden, the organ pipes sounded
And everyones face looked quite astounded

Parked just outside, was a majestic car
Then, we all turned around, to hear "the_vicar"
In walked Sam, looking gorgeous in White
She walked up to Ben, who looked a dreadful sight

So then, as the_vicar went through the marriage issues
As Stella and Gunners sobbed into their tissues
Ben said "i do" and started to cough
and i had to leave, LAUGHING MY (_x_) OFF

Get Well soon honey

Here is a poem, just for me to say
How much, i've missed My Paula today
When she is here, there is such a great spark
But when she is not, my world feels quite dark

I've missed her so much, i suppose you can tell
But it's not her fault, she's not very well
She said this morning, she was feeling like crap
I just wanted to hug her, but she needed a nap

So i've been here all day, with a random post
Still missing the one, who i love most
Hoping she's OK, and feeling more well
And reading this poem, from her dear Stell

The Wedding Pt 2

This ain't gonna happen, like earlier this week
Even Stell's started playin, hide and seek
They seek him here, they seek him there
The sneaky git, is hiding everywhere

But Ben the Beggar, is a determined man
Just cos he got caught, he thinks anyone can
But he didn't think, about the sly old Stella
Quick on his feet, is the shifty ol' fella

As much as i LOVE this Paula of mine
No wedding im sorry, not even online
No matter how much, you lot rant and rave
I won't give an inch (sts), let alone cave

But to be honest, to Sam and Ben
A ceremony like that, will not happen again
It was the funniest thing, and it made me smile
I won't ever laugh like that, in quite some while

Now you can all leave the church, and get in your cars
Whilst i just bend over, and show you my (_x_)
We dont need a ceremony, a cake, or a dove
Because Paula and me, *cries* this is true love.

My Dear Friend Meeko

And now she has gone,this dear friend of mine
This very good mate,that ive known for some time
Its been nearly a year,since we very first met
And there have been some times,I will never forget
Meeko,your funny,your crazy,your absolutly great
Its been a pleasure to call you,a really true mate
Your trustworthy,honest,and really quite smart
And we have got on together,right from the start
But leaving like this,you have just bought a tear
Not just to me,but to lots that are here
You were loved by most,especially the chat room
Where just your appearance,lifted the gloom
Please keep in touch hun,you have my MSN Add
Even tho' your deleting,youve kept it im glad
This morning im glad we had our little chat
I understand why your going,we'll leave it at that

Then it caught Foot and Mouth Disease
And now its black and crispy

Now it goes to school with her
between two chunks of bread.

Thia reminds me of my very first poem on FP over a year ago...and i know someone who loves this as well.......

Mary had a little skirt
with splits right up the sides
and every time that Mary walked
the boys could see her Thighs
Mary had another skirt
'twas split right up the front
...but she didn't wear that one very often

caught in a web thats all sticky but soft
an arousing aroma of beer thats not lost
could this be heaven that waits here for me?
i wore my pink lycra for spider to see
he'll creep up all quiet an not make a sound
he'll nibble me gently, i'll lift from the ground
oh yes its my stella, my man an my hunk...
lets not tell paula what you do with my cold cans of lager
